A good beginner amp - but a bit too much for bedroom play?
40 watts is, quite simply, a lot of power; I've never been able to set the volume to this thing above 6 without fear of deafening myself.
Build quality is 4/5 , as plugging anything in to the dedicated AUX IN port for backing track play results in horrible buzzing and insanely loud popping noises. This was tested across several different aux cables and portable devices.
Other than that, the amp itself is very solidly built, and can definitely take a few knocks. The overdrive channel feature is a bit rubbish, but the clean channel is great. EQ controls are good.
Another note : This is very useful to bring to parties as a speaker. Simply make sure you're set to the clean channel, set the volume low (1 or 2 out of 10), and use an adapter to connect the 3.5mm jack from your phone to the regular guitar input jack. Many friends have commented on how great the sound is playing back party playlists, and the best part is that you can go from listening to music to playing it, with just an electric guitar and an aux, with the same amp. Very versatile.

I use this amp at home, and 40 watts are pretty enough for me.
Cons: It doesn't have FX loop. Sometimes it takes 2 minutes after turning on to recognize the input.
Pros: 40 watts is a big plus. It has reverb control, foot switch connector and output for external speaker.
Good amplifier for home.

not bad
Clean channel + reverb sounds nice.
Distorted channel is ok for classic rock, but not very versatile.
Doesn't have many features but it's cheap & loud.
Impulsively bought it as a part of starter package with a primary application for a home practice and I should've read more on the subject before.
1) It's large and heavy.
2) From my perspective it's too powerful and difficult to set quiet enough for an apartment inside a block of flats, especially during night hours.
3) Should be OK for rehearsal somewhere where you can go loud.
For home practice I replaced it with a slightly more expensive tiny combo with 0.1W/1.5/5W output settings which is way more suitable for a home practice and contains features like drum machine/metronome, tuner, effects & amp emulation- especially first two important for practice.
Otherwise seems to be fine & inexpensive product.

Missing one thing.
The amp is great for a little thing, however, I wish there would have been a EU to USA wall socket adapter included.

Decent cheap amp
This amp is loud and sounds pretty good for the price, I have come across worse amps and would recommend this to someone on a budget

Good for beginner use
Having bought this amp when I first began playing guitar I had little knowledge of the sound or quality expected from an amp compared to now.
I would recommend this to beginners who dont know exactly what they're looking for and dont want to part with a lot of money. While it is most definitely a sturdy build that will not break easily, its tonal limit is quite poor and I wouldnt recommend for gigging use. It is however great for bedroom practice or jamming with friends, if anything it will definitely guide you towards what you are looking for if you ever feel the need to upgrade your equipment.
Solid guitar amplifier for a student new to electric guitar

Pretty good amp for the price
Shipping was not that great but the overall service from thomann was amazing. The amp itself is good as a practice amp or maybe for recording too. It's got all the basic features an amp should have and the amp is well built,
To sum it up, it's a good house amp.

For the price, pretty good.
Shown in the title, it is a cheaper amp for bumming around so in terms of that, quality is pretty decent.

Amazing.
Wouldn't recommend any other amp for a beginner or for anyone interested in playing electric. The features for the price are literally a steal. A solid well built product.

Good for the price
This Harley amp is great for the price, however there are a couple of downsides. The lack of features is a bit disappointing only having the option of overdrive and reverb. Overall though this is a great amp for the price and does the job whatever the occasion.
