Versatility and aesthetics
With its sapele mahogany body, decorative flamed maple veneer top, and attractive natural wood colour in a high-gloss finish, the Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT is a true eye-catcher. The roasted Canadian flamed maple neck, which is secured to the body with a four-bolt neck joint, features a modern C profile and a matt finish, enabling fast and comfortable playing. The roasted maple fingerboard is another feature that makes the Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT stand out from the crowd, and the guitar also boasts 22 wear-resistant stainless-steel frets, a Graph Tech nut, and an HPS-6 Custom hardtail bridge and locking machine heads from WSC. The two Roswell AlNiCo-5 humbuckers are governed by a master volume and a master tone control together with a three-way blade switch, and the tone pot additionally features a push-pull function to allow the pickups to be split for single-coil sounds.
For players who love a great price-performance ratio
The Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT is the perfect choice for those seeking luxurious features and great looks in the most affordable package possible. Bargain-hunters can look forward here to features that are normally only found on more expensive instruments, such as locking machine heads, a Graph Tech nut for enhanced tuning stability, and stainless-steel frets to prevent fret wear spoiling the smooth playing feel of the elegant roasted maple fingerboard. What is more, the body’s ergonomic contouring and comparatively light weight make for excellent playing comfort. Players can also choose between full-on humbucker tone or more subtle single-coil sounds, so this guitar is a true all-rounder that is great as an affordable backup instrument. However, it can still hold its own against significantly more expensive competitors, which makes it interesting not only for ambitious beginners but for experienced guitarists as well.

The whole set on one guitar?
The Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT means you have a lot less to worry about on stage: Its comfortable body shape and matt-finished neck mean you can play it for hours without fatigue, while the locking machine heads, high-quality nut, and especially the hardtail bridge will make sure it stays in tune. Outstanding sonic versatility is provided by the twin humbuckers, both of which can be coil-tapped, drastically reducing the number guitar changes needed during the gig. This of course makes the Fusion-T HH HT Roasted FNT a great backup guitar that can stand in for multiple others. These all-rounder qualities are not only helpful on stage, however: The guitar’s adaptability to multiple musical genres will also be invaluable in the recording studio.
In the spotlight
Roasting
Roasting is one of a range of heat treatment methods that can be applied to wood. This method, which is a relatively recent development, is used in order to give new and/or alternative woods the same tonal characteristics as older, matured tone woods (some of which are now protected by conservation laws and can thus no longer be sold). The wood is placed in a special computer-controlled oven and dried to a pre-determined degree – in other words, its natural drying phase is artificially shortened. This process also changes the wood’s visual appearance, darkening its colour and making the pattern of the grain more distinct.
