Good value; Very cool and unique configuration

As far as I'm aware you can't get an SG Junior in Heather Poly from any other manufacturer outside of a custom shop order. At $150 this one is a screaming value if it's even borderline playable - and mine is much better than that. The setup isn't perfect, no, but it's as good as the average guitar hanging on a retail shop wall. The frets are actually finished pretty well and are level enough for medium-low action without any other intervention. The single pickup is actually fantastic, a vintage low-output Alnico P90. The electronics, including full-size MIK pots, look good and function well.

The guitar is light and super resonant. It is the most resonant solidbody I own, and I own a number of much more expensive guitars.

A couple nitpicks: I could do without the goofy "Roswell" branding on the pickup cover, and the best thing about vintage-style tuners are split shafts, but these ones are solid shafts. I swapped both for about $20.

Very good.

Very good looking, nice finished, I like the sound of the pick-up. Keep in tune decently.

Cons: fretwork is average, some uneven frets (at least on mine, it may depend on the single items) but for the price is fine.

Beautiful finish
Mr. Oaks 02.11.2023
Everything you would expect on a Junior guitar and more. Lighter in weight than the rest of the HB Junior line. The finish is fantastic and it plays really well. Very comfortable to play while standing due to the strap peg being located near the neck/body joint.

Risultato:
Meccaniche: vintage molto precise e ben installate
Elettronica: ben funzionante, saldature soddisfacenti.
