I use it in my studio and for live applications. Best thing here is, that looks like vintage Hammond organ, but is portable and modular. Sound? No words needed. Simulates all the best vintage models of organs and Leslie spikers.
Keyboard? Feeling is just like in analog vintage Hammond organs. Drawbars too.
Definitly the best digital organs I've ever played. :)
This are reasons, why 5 stars in all the categories :)

Nach einigem Zögern habe ich mir sie dann doch geholt !
Sie ersetzt bei mir die Crumar Mojo61, welche klanglich durchaus zu überzeugen wußte.
Die XK-5 kann gegenüber der Mojo mit einem sehr durchdachten Presetsystem aufwarten, was mir beim Studiobetrieb durchaus entgegenkommt. Aber auch klanglich weiß die Orgel durchaus zu überzeugen. (Ich weiß wovon ich spreche. ich besitze ein "Real Thing" in Form einer A100, besaß mehrere HX3-basiende Orgeln, hatte schon die XK-3C, die Nord C2, die Numa Organ, Korg CX3 und auch die Mojo61) Über dan gesamten Tastaturbereich kommen Tiefen, Mitten und Höhen sehr druckvoll. Durch die eingebaute Röhre und den darüber simulierten Matchingtrafo-effekt (der eine subtile, kaum wahrnehmbare Verzerrung addiert), sowie durch die gegenüber der XK-3C nochmal verbesserte Tonerzeugung sowie die Umfangreichen EQ-Einstellungen liegt der Klang jetzt schon sehr nahe am Original - (ohne es allerdings komplett zu erreichen - aber das wird wohl niemals geschehen, da bekanntlich auch das Auge mithört...) Eine sehr variabel einstellbare Effektsektion rundet den Sound bei Bedarf angenehm ab.
Der Chorus (C1/2/3) könnte in meinen Ohren und im Vergleich zu Original enen klitzekleinen Tick weniger Amplitudenmodulation haben - am besten wäre wohl, diese AM einstellbar zu haben - klingt aber ansonsten sehr ordentlich. Das Multikontaktsystem gibt dem Spiel nochmal eine neue Dimension (bei subtiler Spielweise), ist aber im Kontext einer Band kaum mehr wahrzunehmen und kommt damit mehr dem Solisten, als dem Bandmusiker zu Gute!.
Ich betreibe die Orgel über ein Leslie 147 und behaupte: nur eingefleischte Hammond-Fanatiker können das, was aus den Leslierotoren kommt von einer B3, C3 oder A100 unterscheiden.
Der Preis ist sehr hoch, der vom tollen Zubehör (wie Untermanual, B3-Holzunterbau mit Drechselfüßen , und Vollpedal) wohl noch mehr.! Trotzdem wird die Orgel wohl den Sitzenplatz unter den Hammond Klons einnehmen !

Tout a été dit sur les qualités remarquables du son de cette version moderne du célèbre et mythique B3.
Je ne peux que confirmer l’excellence du son et de toutes les fonctions qui font la renommée de Hammond.
Tout est programmable et personnalisable après un petit temps d’adaptation pour évoluer dans les multiples menus.

entendu rien ne remplace une Leslie mais celle embarqué est bluffante de véracité et comblera les plus exigeants.
S’il fallait trouver un bémol je dirais que le clavier « lover » est à un prix exorbitant vu sa fonction de simple clavier maitre.
Comme d’habitude Thomman a livré dans les temps ce qui est important dans une relation de confiance.
