The best in comparison

Harald353, 06.03.2017
After I was a bit tired of my Ibanez beginner guitar, the decision to acquire "what was right" now matured.
Linkhanders have it always hard and who wants to spend around 1,000 ¤, would also like to have a bit of choice. (Fast) only at Thomann there is a reasonable selection. On the way out of the vacation we also took the 100 km detour to look at Thomann directly by. It is also very worthwhile to visit this "madhouse" on Saturdays ...
A VERY friendly seller managed to get the desired three comparison models within 30 minutes.

The choice was a Takamine EF341SC, a Taylor 214CE and the Guild OM-140CE. The Takamine in black was visually the racer, but obviously made for the stage. Unreinforced, the sound is a bit dull. The Taylor was the most beautiful with a matt rosewood body, could be played well and has a very good sound as expected. BUT. The Guild was a little bit better in practically all matters. The playability perfectly (subjectively), the sound full, radiant, loud and extremely clear. The other two could not compete.

Nevertheless there is also a little bit of criticism.
For the sound, there are clearly 5 stars. There is nothing to complain about.
For the features, there are only 4 stars, since I do not need the electronics and if money is already spent on it, I would want a built-in tuner.
The processing also receives a star trigger because the dashboard along the rosette is only roughly cut and in some places tiny unclean paint spots can be found. Overall, not really important, but not perfect. Takamine and Taylor were at least a star.
Overall, there are nevertheless 5 stars, because the price for a solid wood guitar (from China) in the face of the sound goes completely in order.

Conclusion: In comparison has won the cheapest, great sound, I can safely recommend.

A solid quality and good alternative

12.02.2017
I thought after years: Now you buy yourself a usable Western guitar - as Lefthand not quite so simple.

My gaze immediately fell on the Guild, why exactly, I can not even say. Ordered, played and immediately felt comfortable. Finally a guitar from the also ordinary basses come (Except for the pickup, which is rather so mediocre).

After two weeks, I sent the Guild back and sent me a Taylor Lefthand, after 5 minutes playing I called Thomann and sent the Guild back again.

Sure, the Taylor can play wonderfully, but sounds in contrast to the Guild totally clinically, taste can not be argued anyway.

So if you like to play a blues or a bit louder in the strings is here sound technically just right! The guitar sounds really tidy and it is really fun to give some gas.

The tuners are simple, but good, the Fishman pickup you can save yourself, which is not really good, because the guitar sounds much better than it can transfer it.

Absolute recommendation for Singer / Songwriter or Rocknroll :)
