This thing gets better with time
Vinko P. 27.12.2021
I have this guitar for 1 year, and play it every day. I'll just mention some things that I didn't see in various YouTube reviews.

Bigsby vibrato and tuning stability - this was my greatest fear, but the stability gets better with time. Yes, a fresh set of strings will take time to settle, but I have a feeling the spring in the Bigsby arm has also "settled" with time, and now the guitar won't go out of tune as a result of merely using the vibrato arm.

Electronics - this is a relatively inexpensive Streamliner, so cheaper components are used, which is obvious when you try to play with volume or tone knobs. There's not much gradation there, and the sound gets muddy when the volume knob is used. Solution: just don't use the knobs :)

This guitar makes me very happy
NileR69 06.04.2022
I'd been fantasising about owning a Gretsch semi since forever, and finally took the plunge earlier this year. First off, great delivery by Thomann, fast and efficient and everything in top shape. The guitar does not dissapoint. Lovely build, great finish and it sounds great (mine is paired with a Positive Grid Spark amp). Have played it every day for the last three months. Responsive, lovely tone, and it has encouraged me to play a lot more than I've ever played. I'm a self-taught strummer who writes the occasional tune and this guitar is a great companion for all of that. I don't have enough tech knowledge to break down the specs here, but it's made this old dog very happy indeed.

Very nice, good "quality-for-price" guitar. Set up very well out of the box. Sounds nice and dirty too. Only remark I have is the cheapo volume and tone knobs. This does not match the rest of the quality of the guitar.

Great entry level Gretsch guitar!
Shafayet 30.11.2020
After half a year of playing this guitar on a daily basis I am convinced that it's a fantastic guitar.
Props to Thomann for the excellent delivery. It arrived all the way to my home in the Netherlands beautifully packed and in near perfect tuning. It was well set up and ready to rock!
I love everything about this guitar except for the pickups (personal taste). So i swapped them out for HS filtertrons, also from Thomann.

P.S. This GM finish looks even better in person.
