Sleeves are very long and don't seem as well finished as the short sleeve version
Heading text pretty much says it all.
I have placed several other orders with Thomann before opening a full account and as such I can't go back and check what I ordered, but at some point I purchased some shorter sleeves in 8mm which have a far superior fit and finish compared to these.
I'm not sure if those were Gibraltar ones also and I find it difficult to imagine they'd be so different, but they'd have been roughly around the same price point. I think they were offered as part of a creative bundle and were Gewa, much nicer than these. Wouldn't buy again.
After most of my cymbal sleeves were starting to wear (and one so much that I had to force the cymbal off it) I decided to replace them and the felts too. These do what they need to do, they hold the cymbal up and protect it from key holing. I can't say I have any major complaints with these other than that they're a bit taller than I would say was necessary. However in some cases you might need the high for using think felts, I mainly use thin felts except on the ride and china and so I had to cut them down. If I didn't do this then the amount of thread exposed on the stand wouldn't be enough to place on it.
Other than that small issue which is easily rectified these are great, they seem very durable and stable and I'd recommend them to anyone.
