Marvellous sound
Fredrik3404, 22.10.2015
I liked what I read about non-master amps, and I bought this one on speculation. I am overall very satisfied with the amp.

Beautiful open unrestrained sound quality. Just the right amount of grit in the tone. It takes pedals very well, and this means that I can run dist pedals in front of reverb, delay and modulation with very good result. I don't need to run the time machines in loop. Best result is with single coil pickups where the tonal quality really comes out, and you need to work the guitar volume to find the right amount of distortion.

Nice size and weight. Looks good.

My only issue is that the channel switching didn't work from the start. Channel select and boost select have only worked for a couple of minutes from foot switch or control panel. It is being fixed, and the overall quality is so good that I can forgive Fender for this.

All in all, I recommend this amp for anyone wanting to have an open sounding masterless combo. I am thinking of buying another to run stereo.

Absolutely TOP !!
Since I am already for years on other amps prefered only the Cleanchannel with pedals, I took the DeVille ML without long consideration. It always sounds like the same amplifier - I can do without a drivechannel! I use high-quality pedals, which this amp is really wonderful! The idea with the two separate volume is simply brilliant.

After the joyous unpacking I saw that the processing left nothing to be desired - a Bravo at Fender! Very simple and clear in the operation, the guitar connected and already from VOL. 2 -3 is already the correct post! Man, dat is loud :)) No problem so for huge stages - on the other hand, my Peavey Classic 30 (horny part for rehearsals and smaller gigs) sound like a box radio as monitoring in the outdoors;)

The sound: Correctly bulky and voluminous, you can play really fat clean blues, but even my overdrive and distortion pedals come hammer and powerful! When I tried my Chorus from Digitech, it was just cream !! The reverb completes the whole very sensitively, since I would still like to have the possibility to switch it off via the supplied pedal but well ... A step to the amplifier and fast it is turned off! Is not a problem for me!

I am looking forward to hot rehearsals and even hotter gigs - the approx. 30 kg I will gladly hump;))

Price / performance: The thing is worth the price!
