This switch is not state of the art as far is concerned it's quality, switching through the positions generate noises and pops. If you're not able to solder your circuits you're good to go, but if you've have time and the ability, a good soldering joint is far more reliable.

Just installed this to my Ibanez superstrat. Works wonderfully - no buzzing, hissing etc.

Only thing I'd like to mention is that one of the contacts was a little bit bent but thanks to the tank-like build quality, it never bothered me. It would be nice to have non-blade version as well!
