Ever since the announcement of this pedal was released I knew I had to purchase one, not only for the great artwork, but for the quality of the reverbs it produces. Use it with multiple synthesizers, afterneath is very enjoyable to play with highly recommend this if anyone is looking for a great sounding reverb!

Das Earth Quaker Devices Afterneath V3, profitiert durch
seine auf zwei Vorgänger basierende Effekt-Komplexität,
welche bei neuster Version auf den absoluten Höhepunkt kommt.

Die grafische Abbildung des Afterneath sagt eigentlich alles über das gute Stück aus. Hexenmeister-artig lassen sich eindrucksvolle, sphärische Klangresonanzen zaubern, die das Studio in eine Klanghöhle verwandeln.

Nach ein paar Stunden Spielzeit, lege ich die Gitarre weg, da ich durch den authentischen Höhleneffekt, permanent das Bedürfnis habe, mir ein Lagerfeuer am Boden meines Studios
anzuzünden... Ich bin begeistert.

Wichtiger Tipp am Rande:

Man muss sich im Klaren sein, dass sich das Afterneath „nur“ auf eine Hall-Art, dem "Cave Reverb", spezialisiert hat. Ungeachtet dessen wird dem Spieler trotzdem eine unerwartet, umfangreiche Komplexität geboten.

Richtig Sinn macht jedoch das Afterneath meiner Meinung nach dann, wenn man es mit einem Expressionpedal ansteuert, da der dafür konzipierte Mode Regler in der Mitte erst dann sein tatsächliches Potential seiner neun Modis preisgibt und sich das Afterneath dann in vollem Umfang sehr komplex ansteuern lässt.
