If you like classic tones and classic rock heaven, this is it. I don't know how close this is to any pick up made 50 years ago, but it sure is great right now.

Great vintage sound, warm yet clean and clear.

I have a pair of these pickups (the neck model being voiced specifically for neck position) in a mahogany bodied guitar. They both sound warm, 'woody' and vintage-like, but without ever sounding muddy. Lower to medium in output, a very nice all round pickup.

J'ai achetés la paire de DiMarzio PAF pour upgrader ma PRS Zack Myers.
Montage facile, comme des micros : il faut manier un peu le fer à souder.

Ces micros (dp223 en bridge + dp103 en neck) sont beaucoup moins passe partout que les micros d'origine.
Ils sont beaucoup plus mélodiques, équilibrés, avec peut-être un peu plus de médiums.

La différence, en fait, c'est comme la première fois que j'ai joué sur un ampli à lampes alors qu'habitué aux amplis transistors.
Et puis on tend l'oreille, et le constat est sans appel : Ça chante !

Ce dp223 a un tout petit peu moins de volume de sortie que son voisin, mais le son sort avec quand même un bon volume, caractéristique apparemment propre à la marque. Je me demande à quel niveau sortent les fameux "super distorsion".

Plus que convaincu, j'en suis à me demander quelle nouvelle guitare je vais me procurer pour y monter d'autres micros DiMarzio :)

Ils sont idéaux pour le blues-rock, peut-être pas faits pour le métal.
En ce qui me concerne c'est un excellent investissement.

...hat mich auf diesen genialen Pickup stoßen lassen. Bin sehr begeistert und habe endlich meinen Sound gefunden - vorallendingen ist er ziemlich klar definiert. Hatte vorher einen PhatCat P90 eingebaut, der auch super Sound geliefert hat, allerdings waren mir die Nebengeräusche zu laut. Der DiMarzio allerdings hat für meine Ohren aber die Nase vorn.
Eingebaut in einer Gibson Les Paul Studio von 2011.
