Überzeugendes Envelope-Filter/Auto-Wah

Wer sich für ein Envelope-Filter interessiert weiß im Grunde welchen Sound er erreichen möchte. Wenn es dann noch im mittleren Preissegment liegen soll kommt man entweder auf das EHX Q-Tron Nano oder eben auf das DOD 440. Warum ich mich für das DOD 440 entschieden habe? Ich mag einfache Bedienung. Zwei große Regler, ein kleiner Kippschalter. Das reicht mir. Zumindest für den Zweck, für den ich ein Envelope-Filter nutzen möchte. Beide Regler auf 12 Uhr, einschalten, und ich bin schon genau da wohin ich wollte. Mit den Reglern kann man noch ein bisschen Finetunen. Die untere Schalterstellung ist kehrt den Effekt praktisch um. Erscheint im Gitarren-Kontext erstmal gewöhnungsbedürftig, ist aber auch ein Sound, den man sicherlich auch mal einsetzen kann. Die Verarbeitung ist gut und solide. Für mich ist auch die Optik ansprechender als beim Q-Tron, aber das ist Geschmackssache. Da es genau das tut was es -für mich- tun soll gibt´s volle 5 Sterne. Prima Pedal.
