Nice, Warm, Subtle
Edgar Blackdagger 19.10.2020
Very nice, warm chorus, it sounds quite expensive and definitely more "refined" than my Cool Cat Chorus. I also like this line's buffer, it colors the sound a bit, but in a very pleasant way (I often leave my "FAB Echo" On even with the Mix knob on 0, because it gets rid of some unusable high end and adds a bit of warmth to the sound), so I prefer that to the Cool Cat line.
The only "bad" thing is that it's subtle, it's between Chorusing and Detuning, it's not an "instant 80s" pedal, which I really like tbh.

I recommend anything from the FAB line, these things sound GREAT, they cost nothing and don't worry about stomping them to death unless you wear those italian concrete shoes, in which case that would be the least of your problems :P

Go for it!

Good purchase!

Great purchase for the money! It was my first dab in to the world of chorus and was more than enough to spark an interest. Pedal can do everything from a subtle chorus which adds to your sound to a big expansive wide full on 'Come As You Are' tone! For the price some downfalls are to be expected the quality and feel of the pedal are not as good as one would hope and the pedal has sweet spots that sound good but it doesn't have a continuous roll off of usable sounds. Great pedal for the money and great if you are only just looking at the area of chorus.

Bought this chorus as a starter to get familiar with the effect and after 6 months I still don't regret it.

I use it both on bass and guitar and it handles both really well (no noticable low-end loss on bass). And although the pedal looks awful (IMO) it works and it sounds good.

PRO:
- Works with both guitar and bass, just change the settings.
- Can go from subtle to over-the-top
- Rock-hard chassis
- Sounds good
- Enough control over the sound

CON:
- Footswitch seems a bit weak (but hasn't broken on me)
- Looks really bad
- Weird shape, wich can be annoying on a pedalboard
(these are just because i had to write something bad)

Considering the price and the sound, if you want to buy a chorus, this is a really good choice.

Good fun and cheap

Useful chorus in a funny package. I would most recommend this in combination with other pedals. I find it best when placed last in the order of effects and used subtly. It can be used this way to round off some harshness of a guitar or bass tone built with other effects. On its own, with a higher mix setting, it serves up a distinct style of classic chorus, which can be heard in the audio examples.

I like it. Still I prefer a metal housing. The footswitch is fine and works well, but feels spongy compared to other pedals. The blue engage-LED is intense.

I have years of experience as producer/engineer as well as instrumentalist. Now I work in the MI branch. (No affiliation with this brand)

not so ergonomic
guitarBE 20.05.2019
The ON-OFF button is a bit flimsy and a bit low so you can only put it in the 1st row of your pedalboard. It is a bit weird to have the controls on the back..

soundwise it is very good.

Good bang for the buck

I do not use chorus a lot, so I wanted something cheap, but usable. The Danelectro is both. Offers decent sounds and is made out of a good quality plastic.

In the meanwhile I have got my hands on a few Boss chorus pedals in some second hand deals, they do sound better, but the price is way double(second hand) or tripple to quadruple for a new one.

So, really buy it if you only need it in one song, if you need to use chorus in more songs and have a little more budget, buy something else

Awesome for its price

I was looking for a chorus for my pedal board and got this basically for its low price. I don't use chorus a lot, but I'm very happy with this pedal. I does what it should and doesn't introduce any noise that I've been able to detect.

Pros:
-Made of sturdy plastic, not cheap feeling like behringer ones.
-It gives you all the basic chorus sounds you need.
-No noise/ hum

Cons:
-Adjusting knobs are kind of weirdly placed

Overall:
Very nice sounding chorus pedal for little money.
