I bought these picks since I read they are used by "famous people". I still have to wear out one of them, maybe I am too delicate and gentle when I play or i do not play enough hours every day! It is a nice material, good grip, Good thickness and feeling both on the hands holding the pick and on hitting the strings. But there is a big CONTRO on this particular box that i received on 12 picks in the HALF are not straight and in various stages of "bend". Poor quality control. So now I don't know if I want to give a 5 star or a 3 star review. Since i am very happy with the ones that are perfectly straight.

used on bass. good picks but not something special. the grip is not as good as it is suposed to be. maybe the same or different thickness for guitar works better. what i really liked is the tin box. it's small but can take more than 12 picks, beautifull and practical.

for the amount of 12 picks +the tin box and the price it is not a waste of money.

Kind of slippery. they case is very nice. All of them are the same size and shape. Seems to be just as flexible as any other 1mm

Sempre più convinto!

Mesi fa pensai di iniziare a provare vari modelli di plettri. Suono ormai da 15 anni, e ho sempre usato lo stesso plettro. Non letteralmente lo stesso, per fortuna, ma lo stesso modello. Non conoscevo la marca D'Andrea dunque, documentandomi in rete, ho scoperto che si tratta una gloriosa società americana -di chiara provenienza italiana- che fa plettri da molto molto prima che Elvis Presley nascesse. Ed è proprio questa longevità tanto inaspettata -in un mondo pieno di marchi asiatici neonati che copiano altri marchi asiatici neonati- quanto gradita che mi ha spinto a comprare un set di plettri Formula Delrex.

La prima impressione è stata positiva, mi sono subito chiesto perché costassero di meno dei plettri più blasonati e testugginei. Li ho usati per più di tre mesi, su basso e chitarre, cercando di dimenticare i Tortex. Il grip è ottimo, il feeling in generale è buono. In seguito ho ripreso un Tortex (dello stesso spessore del D'Andrea, 1.00mm) per vedere quanto fosse evidente la differenza. E, vi dirò, non lo era affatto. Ho comprato il set da 12 plettri qualche mese fa. Suono almeno due ore al giorno e non sono ancora riuscito a consumare il primo plettro. Cosa altro dire?

Pro: Prezzo e qualità.
Contro: Nemmeno uno.
