All cookie preferences at a glance

You are totally in control of your privacy and it is up to you which cookies Thomann may and may not use. You can agree to the usage of all cookies stated down below by clicking "Accept all".
This is where we save items in your shopping basket in case you are unable to complete a purchase. You will find the items still in your shopping basket when you next visit the Thomann web store.
This is where we save the items you want to remember for later.
We remember your personal settings here so that you don't have to make them again each time you visit - e.g. category selection, audio and video volume, list display and position, permanently hiding notices that you have already taken note of, etc. In addition, we save your search queries on your terminal device to enable you to conduct a search tailored to your individual needs and, above all, to be able to sort out irrelevant search hits from the outset.
This is where we save your preferred language, country, and currency for browsing our web store.
You will stay logged into Thomann as long as you do not log out yourself.
We try to match product recommendations on our own and our partner web sites to your interests and, by doing so, draw your attention to products that are interesting and suitable for you.
This service allows us to keep track of those users' activities on our web site who arrived here through Bing ads. Non-personal data on web site use are saved. This includes among others the length of stay on the web site, which sections of the websites have been visited and which ad led the user to the web site. No data relating to the identity of the user is captured.
With this cookie, the chat system provider Userlike saves settings required for the online chat service.
Adform provides us with a way of posting ads in large advertising networks. By using the Adform cookie as well as an anonymized user ID, we can reach our customers with suitable ads and optimize our ad campaigns. For this purpose, a unique, anonymized user ID is generated. This is achieved either using a random number or using various Adform technologies.
On our websites, we use the Meta Conversion API, a server-side conversion tool that we use to measure the success of our own advertising campaigns on the meta portals Facebook and Instagram. The provider of the Meta Conversion API is Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2 Ireland ("Meta").

The Meta Conversion API supports ad optimisation and is used to create target groups. With the data transfers via the API, we want to ensure that our Facebook and Instagram ads match the potential interest of the users. It also allows us to track the effectiveness of our own Facebook and Instagram ads by seeing whether users were redirected to our website and perform actions (conversions) after clicking on an ad.

In addition to the Meta Conversion API, we use the Meta Pixel. The Meta Pixel is a remarketing pixel implemented on our websites that allows us to target you directly via the Meta Network by serving ads to visitors of our websites when they visit the social networks Facebook and Instagram. The meta pixel are code snippets which are able to identify your browser type via the browser ID - the individual fingerprint of your browser - and to recognise that you have visited our websites and what exactly you have looked at on our websites. When you visit our websites, the pixel establishes a direct connection to Meta's servers. Meta is able to identify you by your browser ID, as this is linked to other data about you stored by Meta on your Facebook or Instagram user account. Meta then delivers individualised ads from us on Facebook or on Instagram that are tailored to your needs.

We ourselves are not in a position to identify you personally via the meta pixel, as apart from your browser ID no other data is stored with us via the pixel.

For more information about the Meta Pixel, the details of data processing via this service and Meta's privacy policy, please visit Meta Privacy Policy - How Meta collects and uses user data for Facebook and Meta Privacy Policy - How Meta collects and uses user data for Instagram.

Right of withdrawal
You can find out how to withdraw the consent you have given via our cookie layer in the section "Withdrawal of consent given for the use of cookies and other identifiers/tags".

Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. is a subsidiary of Meta Platforms, Inc. based in the USA. It cannot be ruled out that your data collected by Facebook will also be transmitted to the USA.
Google DoubleClick's purpose is to show you relevant Thomann or third-party provider ads. DoubleClick is based on ad servers which allow publishers, advertisers and advertising networks to target internet ads at users. DoubleClick facilitates monetizing websites, implementing online campaigns and making advertising contacts. Using DoubleClick cookies allows ads to be targeted based on previous visits to our or other web sites on the internet.
We use Google Analytics to better understand the way the Thomann store is used. Google Analytics uses the information collected on behalf of Musikhaus Thomann to analyze use of the web site, to generate reports on web site activities, and to provide other services related to web site and internet use to Musikhaus Thomann as the operator of the web site. This does not involve the transmission of personal data to Google, and all data saved by Google is anonymized.
We use Google Ads to show you targeted and personalised advertising on Google and the Google advertising network. The content of the adverts should be as relevant to you as possible. To achieve this, we share some of your interactions on Thomann with Google Ads. This includes, for example, the information that you have viewed a particular page. This gives us the opportunity to target you via Google Ads with content based on your recent interactions. In addition, we share information with Google Ads relating to your recent orders - via the Google Ads Pixel and by transmitting transaction-related, encrypted emails. This not only gives us the opportunity to optimise our campaigns, but also gives us insights into how we can improve our advertising.
TikTok allows us to to adress our advertising specifically at Thomann users who have already shown an interest in our website and our products. In retargeting, the ads served are selecetd according to a cookie-based analysis of previous user behaviour.
Pinterest allows us to specifically target Thomann users with advertising who have already shown an interest in our website and our products. Retargeting shows ads based on cookie-based analyses of previous user behaviour.
In addition to the technical data mentioned above, your e-mail address is also processed within the scope of the Snap pixel process, provided that you have made this available to us and have given your consent for this processing. We use a hashing process to make the email address unrecognisable to third parties and then transmit it to Snap in this form, i.e. not in plain text. The hashed email address is then implemented in the pixel for improved recognition of your end device. This transmission enables Snap to compile statistics on usage behaviour on our website after forwarding from an advertisement, which we use to optimise our offer. All of the processing described above, in particular the use of the pixel and the use of your hashed e-mail address, will only be carried out if you give us your consent to do so via our cookie layer.
We use Braze on our websites, which is comprehensive communication and customer engagement platform. Through Braze we have access to data about the usage of our mobile applications and newsletter subscribers, in order to enable the targeting und delivery of newsletters, push notifications, in-app messages, web-pushs and content cards. We use the Braze platform for our commercial direct messaging.
