G12H-55 15 ohm
13.03.2017
the G12H-55 15ohm arrived today and straightaway I placed it in a 2x12 with a G12M-75 16ohm. one 30 watt 100db and one 25 watt 98db and played the combo pretty hard to loosen up the new G12H-55, and quite quickly playing a strat tru these 2 speakers I realised how well they work together the 25M greenie was louder in the treble frequencies and the 30H greenie was louder in the bass frequencies, and together they work really really well

I used an empty palmer 2x12 closed back cabinet to put these 2 speakers in and I am so impressed with the overall sound , great idea to build yourself a custom cabinet that can't be brought and so easy to do

M10, 12.12.2017
After careful consideration, I have decided for a couple of 55Hz H-Speaker, which now share with a couple (old) G12M the place in a 4x12er box. In short: The G12M blaring a bit more in the middle, the G12H deliver a bit more bottom and sound fundamentally "friendlier" and not so upbeat. The difference, however, is so marginal that it's not really worth writing long audio-medical novels about it. I am happy with the combination of the two variants - one person can not do what one person can do. Hand on heart: In the old days we did not care what a letter stood behind the "G12" - you played with what you had and made the best out of it.

Tip for speaker- "Erstbesteiger": The tonal difference of the M and H and the 55Hz and 75Hz variants sounds best in the clean state. Strained sounds good soon, too much Zerre hindered in a band structure, the assertiveness. One should therefore be clear about the style of which you need the speaker, in what kind of box the speaker comes, and whether the amp / pedalboard used, etc etc is not capable in any case, the tonal difference between the two speakers Variations compensate.
