If you like simple vintage-style delay, look no further!
andrus108, 19.12.2020
This is probably the most true-to-the original copy of an Echoplex tape delay, where only signal that is made digital is the one that would be placed on the tape itself, keeping the mixing and preamp stages fully analog.

In addition, you've got a couple of neat features like expression delay output, which depending on the setting controls different, sometimes very non-usual effects (for example, a wah-like effect on the delay line!), as well as two oscillation settings, so you can have the wild self-oscillation effect accessible by simply clicking a foot, or simply two values of your liking.

My only gripe, not really a fault of the pedal, is that if you have a more complicated setup, involving a MIDI switcher, you have to seriously twist your brain around if you want to keep the preamp's influence on your sound, with controlling of the delay, but if you're the kind of guy who uses 2-3 effects, and you don't mind a bit of tap-dancing, you'd be hard pressed to find a better vintage-style delay. I've had it for 2 years now, and it's a keeper for life.

Amazing pedal..Bright repeats, Dark repeats, Modulated repeat. This thing is satisfaction in a box.
Not for everyone though, its a recreation of the famous EP-3, so it has a pre stage That will COLOUR your sound a bit, but dont worry it colors the sound in a amazing way, to my taste this is like an "always on" pedal, if you dont use it for the delay you will want to use it for the pre, everything sound very 70's,60's to my ears....if you dont want that vintage vibe or you want a clean more digital repeat, look else were, maybe a TIMELINE will do the trick for you.

In conclusion....awesome delay, delay with modulations and pre. It's a keeper. You get what you pay. Catalinbread is becoming my favourite brand for pedals.

Jap!

Bin sehr zufrieden mit meinem Belle Epoch! Was für mich noch zum perfekten Delay gefehlt hätte wären Stereo-Modus, aber v.a. Tap-Tempo.
