Hopf Case 100/3-4

First impression is that it appears to be cheap plastic! Closer examination and feeling the weight reveals that it is wooden with a waterproof washable covering (Not unlike Tolex on Fender cases). The inside has a pleasantly soft red velvet like material. If you consider the real purpose - To effectively protect your instrument, then this is far more sturdy than a soft zip up bag. Stronger if you don't mind the extra weight. If the charcoal black finish doesn't put you off, then it's the best choice available...Unfortunately when closing the case for the very first time the side catch on the left failed to align properly. This resulted in the screws ripping out from the wood! I will now drill through the wood and fit small nuts and bolts rather than the wood screws which were not robust enough for the job!

An excellent product. My Akkordzither fits into it very snugly with room for a few extras such as the tuner and picks etc. I use it mainly at home but would be quite happy to travel with it. I would like to add that the service is excellent also. Friendly, helpful staff and a prompt dispatch.

Guter Koffer für die Hopf-6-Akkordzither

Der Koffer ist gut verarbeitet mit Kunststoff-Eckenschützern/Füßen, gutem Tragegriff und vier stabilen Schlössern. Er passt sehr gut für die 6-Akkord-Zithern von Hopf. Die größere Version des Koffers ist dafür also nicht erforderlich. Einige Detailmodifikationen in Form von Moosgummiblöcken waren nötig, um das Instrument völlig am Hin- und Herrutschen zu hindern und um das Instrument gegen ein kleines Fach für Zubehör zu separieren, das ich durch Zufügen einer Unterteilung angebracht habe.
Der Preis ist alternativlos. Die Lieferzeit durch Thomann - wie immer - unschlagbar.
