Selected sounds in room sound

Everything is infinitely variable, the operation is very simple. Use a minute and you know where. What a bit annoying: If one sits or stands one must bend relatively far, in order to be able to read the inscriptions in case of doubt.

Reverb sounds good. In the manual, there is a dark / light switch for the reverb on the rear panel, but the way I see it does not. Unfortunately, you can not play from the outside, which is a pity, if you already have such a fat speaker in the room.
In the "Speaker emulated Output" the adapter may not be pushed completely, otherwise only a monosignal seems to be sent on the left. You have to try a little bit, if you want to use headphones.

The Clean Channel remains clean, no matter how you turn it on. Sounds ala Dani California do not go so well, because you have to switch to the Overdrive Channel and turn Gain so far down, until you get a crunchier Cleansound - but then you can not use the Footswitch to switch to a more distorted sound. Nevertheless, both channels sound really authentic and powerful. The ISF controller is a nice addition to the tonal variety, but the stepless control should not simulate an "infinite sound" possibility. Either he is on the far left (beautiful directly, Marshall lets greet), far right (warm and natural sound) or in the middle. I do not think there is a big difference between them. But sometimes less is more.
The "Speaker emulated Output" I find extremely flat and dynamic, have him tested with very good Teufel headphones. Can perhaps be a nightmare, but let the Celestion sound.

Something rattles when you raise the amp and settles. Probably the speaker. Does not affect the sound and everything else is tipptop.

Location: I have the amp with me in the room, and for it is super suitable. You have to turn up a little bit, if you want to achieve a characteristic sound, but if you can trust my iPhone, you rarely have to go beyond the 80 dB to get that too (at ~ 1m distance on knee braces for good sound: max. 80 dB, directly in front of it: 90 dB). There is still a lot of air upwards, for smaller performances is enough. Nevertheless, the necessary volume is quite exhausting in the long run when 80 + - 5 dB is sounded for an hour, at least for my sensitive ears. I can not stand it much longer. Too close to the speaker should be then not synonymous, then are quickly reached the 90 dB and you risk a hearing damage. So watch out!

Altogether a massive part with a nice sound and selected sound possibilities. In the case of sound diversity was clearly set on quality instead of quantity, which is only me right (had previously the Vox Vt 20+. So you get somehow nothing half and nothing whole ..).

There is better but it is more ch re :)

Hello, for the features and ben look at the previous opinions, there what we want to know if we hesitate to take this amp is the sound !!!
The clear sound is good but less brilliant and less compressed than in Marshall (I have the dsl5c) and less class than in mesa. We feel that it's not really his thing or my thing;) even with the reverb. The crunche is a little crado, that against bof bof, for hendrix or SRV we forget. The distortion and good, very modern, very thick with good bass that is why I chose this one. So for sounds we will not do everything perfectly, but with a few pedals I get out well. But I have the blackstar ht 1w (for the house but it deboites !!!) and it wow, it is my darling, I play hendrix, acdc, muse, metallica .... etc and it does everything and Very well even just with isf.
In spite of it's 20w lamps the studio 20 can be played at low volume (without the swicher in 7 w) with always good bass (I have a messa f30 and it is impossible) For repeats think of raising it if not You will find it too weak. The knob settings are really effective, you have to tweak at the beginning.
This is my opinion, in conclusion I recommend it is a good compromise to play at home or repeat to heat his lamps, with a good product well finished a little imposing nevertheless, no noise parasite as often at Marshall
In short I recommend it!
