Wow...just....wow
Robert Peterson 30.08.2020
I am AMAZED at the sounds coming from this thing. No BS...the Behringer GDI21 blows my REVV G3 out of the water in terms of ease of use and gain saturation.

I spend about 10-15 minutes EVERY DAY trying to tweak-out a good tone from my REVV G3 pedal only to have a weak tone that is very disappointing. Meanwhile with the Behringer GDI21 I got a great sound out of it in less than a minute and I haven't changed the settings since.
The GDI21's mic IRs aren't too spectacular but they do sound decent and thankfully I've not had to use the Ground Lift switch, as this product makes very little noise, even at full gain.
My only gripe about the GDI21 was that I wish it came with a "Mids" control, but other than that you get great sounds out of it.

Oh...did I mention that the Behringer GDI21 blows the socks off of my REVV G3...a unit costing TEN TIMES AS MUCH as the GDI21? Honestly...if I had bought the GDI21 before getting the REVV, I would never have bought the REVV.

Get one today. The price is low enough for anyone to give it a try and I'm quite confident most people will not regret buying it.

Wow...just....wow...

g
Good quality for an affordable device, nice sound
gruton 30.03.2019
I've used this as an amp sim connected to a simple Behringer mixer (that does reverb and line-level amplification), as an at-home practice setup, usually playing via headphones from the mixer. It all sounds really good, with a simple and affordable setup. It doesn't have too many different things to tweak in terms of settings and different tones, but all the sounds it produces sound good. I prefer this over the different multieffect things I've tried, both because I prefer "direct knobs" over menus and presets, and I like the sound of it better. For the price, it is really hard to beat.

I
Behringer v-tone
Ian126 15.12.2013
I bought the Behringer V-Tone after watching a few clips on you tube, and because the behringer pedals I have had have all been great bits of kit.
1st thing to say is that its very sturdy - I'm using it on my desk, into a small Behringer mixer, and it fells very solid indeed.
I am taking the output into my laptop ( via a mixer) as a way to get different tones into my home recordings- and this little unit does the job brilliantly, 3 amp models - tweed (Fender) Brit (Marshall) and Cali - which is a boogie I assume, then each can have 3 levels of gain, and 3 mic placements, couple that with gain, treble and bass pots and there are 100's of sounds in here
My fave is my tele through the tweed, with hot gain - perfect for hot tele twang.

I have also fed this into my small Bugera V5 amp- and it works just as well through that- great fun

All in all its a great bit of kit and a steal at the price

update !a few months later and my opinion is that this is a great bit of kit!

O
Can't take your Amp? Just pack this
OliverSean 21.08.2015
It's a brilliant product. If you can't take your amp to a gig or travelling out of the country just keep this with you, it always comes in handy alongside the DI from behringer for acoustic guitars.
