Beat Root

Patrick127, 09.11.2015
I bought a Beat Root in C major and I ordered a tuning kit via the Beat Root site, making ultra-powerful magnets that can lower (from a semitone to a tone ) Each of the notes.
I am completely satisfied apart for the electro-acoustic side. Indeed, the transducer, "micro" placed in the Beat Root, strangely resembles a transducer sold 50 cents on some sites ... I hope I'm wrong ... It nevertheless allows to plug the instrument on an amp ... but I do not know if the extra cost of 50? With respect to the non-electroacoustic model is justified ...
In any case, it is a beautiful instrument, to the sound very nice (I play it with mallets in slipboards to not have the sound of the attack). It is very beautiful, soothing. I recommend, at least for the classic version (without microphone) ... for this one, I would have put 5 stars everywhere without hesitation!

Makes spa

Klaus272, 12.02.2017
The particle plays with the hand / thumb, but it sounds far better if you hit it with the enclosed bats. Since the pickup also produces less noise.
With a gold lacquer pencil I wrote the (rather pure-tuned) tones next to the tongues. This way, I can not only intuitively improvise, but also deliberately striking chords.
I also used it at school. Because I find it good, that it is relatively robust. It is pedagogically effective, since it does not necessarily become louder from a certain touch force, but the sound sounds ugly and begins to rattle.
4 stars only because it has to be very attentive to generate sounds and the pickup (probably due to the system) also a lot of background noises.

... and also my esoteric neighbor was totally excited by the particle ...
