Good, but not quite what I want!

Too bad, because I'm looking forward to the micro. I have also ordered a Rode M1-S and both against my current vocal microphone, which I have already used over 10 years and is from LEEM.

Read I have that both ordered candidates have a high output ... but unfortunately the Rode was the quietest candidate, followed by the Audix.

Through our PA in the Proberaum all sound characteristics could be heard. The Rode really sounds very Studiomigig and soft, which I unfortunately least liked. The OM 2S, on the other hand, was a completely different number. Slightly more pronounced in the heights with significantly more mids opposite the Rode, with relatively little power in the bass range. This was more the sound, which I had wanted, although I lack a little the deep mids.

In the end, I stayed with my old microphone, because it seems to fit better to my voice. Both tested microphones are however not bad and well processed, no question;)
