Where to even begin i dare to say that this is probably the best audio interface for the price point, it will probably also beat a lot of the competion in the 350€> price range. Amazing for any starter/intermediate home recording studio.
Starting with the built quality: it is amazing with an all arround metal case to protect the inside components that make this awesome interface, you can't ask for much more. Is hard to see this level of excellence in the build quality.
Then moving on to the preamps, again i've tested the pres on other interfaces for this price range, like the scarlett and the motu m2 and i've gotta say (although the motum2 was close) they are amazing and well capable of driving any condenser mic for the same price range and with a extremely low noise floor.
Finally the headphone amps, im running a 250 ohm beyerdynamic 990 DT Pro into the interface, and although the interface is usbc powered, it is well capable of driving this headphones. But the thing i probably love most about this interface, just because it is different from the others is the extra headphone output. A really nice feature that i never seen in other interfaces of the same price range.

Too many issues for such a renowned brand
daaaabd, 10.04.2021
I was very pumped about the iD14 mkII. Bus power, LED meters, a massive history in audio industry - everything I knew about Audient and its products brought me to purchase the new iD14. I was disappointed to say the least.

Pros:
- build quality is nice, aesthetically good
- controls on the top panel allow for lots of negative space around them with a smaller form factor than the competitors
- LED meters

Cons:
- drivers implementation is absolute garbage. See issues below
- at times, the interface would be initialised at max volume after connecting it to a Mac or Win computer, thus potentially harming my equipment and ears if I don't remember to touch the big volume knob upon starting the interface. Moving the knob will snap the volume at the correct value, but if you forget to do that, expect to jump on your chair at the first notification you get
- the interface produces a loud pop when powered up, making it fit for mobile setups, not so much for desktop or non-mobile setups where users will want to start their whole gear up with one single action
- when connected to a computer in sleep mode, the iD14 keeps requesting power from the bus source, thus staying on when connected to a sleeping device. This drains the computer's battery very quickly, and it's painful especially with mobile setups
- these issues would be acceptable on Behringer and similar low-budget brands, and none of the above is happening anyway on those products. An Audient product at that price point simply cannot show such problems, and this puts this product way below the competition
- all the issues above were reported to Audient's support centre, which proven inadequate as far as helping fixing them. Long response times, useless suggestions, no reporting of the issue to engineers that could fix it. I was basically asked to do QA on those issues for free. That can't happen.

Very, very disappointed with the product and the brand in general.

An absolutely incredible interface, which I highly recommend!
Pohamba, 29.08.2021
This interface, after a few weeks of use has been nothing but amazing. The preamps and the AD/DA converters are of exceptional quality. They have more than enough gain capabilities and can power some of the most gain hungry microphones with no problems and with very little noise. The big knob (rotary encoder) is very comfortable for controlling the volume of the output and the headphone amp provides enough power to power near any headphone. The build quality is absolutely amazing and the unit feels like it will last for many many years to come. Overall I think this interface is truly wonderful and I highly recommend it for anyone considering buying this interface.

Amazing
JoeJoe, 04.07.2021
I was thinking for a long time should I invest in this interface, since I already had an Steinberg UR22MKII, which is a fine interface. I was looking for a way to improve my recordings, and after some research finally have decided to buy it. The improvement in my recordings in mind blowing, DI is fantastic, SM58 sounds great(since I don't yet have a treated space, this means a lot when recording vocals, a large condenser would pick up everything), NT5's as well... If it was only for the DI, it would probably be worth it - bass sounds like a bass. I've got a long way to go in music production, but this thing is a beast...

The plugin pack is amazing as well, Retrologue 2 is an awesome synth, there are a few PLAP courses, and lots of other stuff as well...

It's not exactly cheap, but if it will be durable(I heard that the first generation of ID's used to overheat, break etc...) and last me for many years, this is a no-brainer investment.

Great service from Thomann, as usual!
