Perfect this leipzig sk

Mathieu8022, 15.12.2013
This synth is perfect for me.
A round, warm, shiny, fine, percussive and very naughty, beware big potato ...
From the modern analo, a little resemblance to a prodigy moog ... But not in the sound ...
It is very beautiful ... It counts nevertheless !!

- imposing model.
- Wooden flan, spacing nickel buttons and perfect. One is not generated by another knob.
- Very fine stroke adjustment.
- Small den in the middle of certain buttons, light cranting.
- The sequencer buttons sound harder and rough and hook well to the fingers.
- Small switches for connections via midi to activate functions.
- a progressive noise function, it is necessary to turn the knob to sound the sound ....

This is the philosophy of the synth ...

For me the sequencer is indispensable, the settings of the notes are intuitive and we really play from the first notes played with the filter and other sources ...

Enormous possibilities for modulation of the sound via the 3 knobs at the center and the possibility of changing waveform gradually.

- Advantage compared to the rack version, its multiple connection to the back, and a very good keyboard.
A little less for the little buttons midi and transpose .. A little cheap for my taste
But I do not regret my investment, it will complete my little sh2 ....
Finally, we find two wheels of pitch, bend etc ...

Too bad it is no more put forward in the trade ....

I bought it without trying it so I freaked a bit, considering the price of the beast and the little comment and video on ...

But we got it for its money and I think the next, and yes we will not stop there !!! Will be of this product range ...

I have long hesitated but very happy ....
I thank analogue solution and thomann for their seriousness ...

Very good workmanship and round feature package

Norbert224, 15.12.2013
For a music project that combines Renaissance and Baroque music with electronics, I still needed an analog synthesizer to be able to perform live some sounde experiments.
This time it should really be purely analog, since when the parameters are stored then a digital quantization must occur. And I did not want any digital jumps in slow running LFOs or envelopes. That's why almost all current analog synthesizers emptied. The consideration in the direction of the module system I have only once rejected, as heavier to transport and live to handle.

Analogue Systems with "Leipzig" and "Telemark" had noticed me for a long time, also because of the step sequencer at the Leipzig. I then also decided because of the sound for the Leipzig.

The Leipzig is excellently processed, a musical instrument, not a cheap plastic toy. The sound convinced me immediately. From soft to very hard, everything goes, but the sound remains discreet, does not end in a total crash. For this reason, I also rejected the MiniBrute, whose Steiner Parker filter did not please me at all.

The equipment at the Leipzig is very "round", many small details go beyond the standard and expand the possibilities see. For example, the sequencer may be triggered by a VCO and thereby itself used as an oscillator. Very busy ...
Also the modulation possibilities are neat.

Only two things do not quite correspond to my imagination. There is a star trigger in the operation. On the one hand, the SK variant has replaced the MIDI sync with EXT2. That initially gave me some trouble. At the moment I use EXT2 by using a short drumsample from output 4 from the MPC, which moves the sequencer one step further. Of course, is already more flexible, but also more effort.
On the other hand, the resonance controller is really quite fine. Two thirds almost no reaction, but then one must be very careful rangehen.
But these are, in my opinion, details to which one can get used.

Of course this is not a cheap tool. The price makes one think first. But I am convinced that it has paid off and the instrument has a fixed place in my setup in the long run.
