I'm primarily using this as a bass/guitar/synth amp. Works fantastic for that context, I can plug in whatever song I'm learning through the second input, and there's plenty of bass and volume for low to medium settings with semi-loud to loud jazz drummers.

There's a certain something missing to really make it a *phenomenal* item. It sounds great, don't get me wrong, but there's a certain something in the midrange that gives of a bit of a budget vibe. It's really hard to explain, but it feels like there's too much energy in some part. It would probably be helped by a master output EQ from a mixing desk or so.

I can also fit my preamp pedal in the handle slot. If you use a simple preamp or EQ, the size of a two-button Electro Harmonix pedal, it'll fit there.

Very good combination of price and quality !
Aleksey Romanyuta 02.06.2020
I'm a professional musician.I bought these Altos for performances on the road, small weight and dimensions, it is convenient. The sound is dense ,for this money it is a pleasant surprise. Very good combination of price and quality ! If you will often transport them, I recommend buying trunks, since the plastic is quite delicate and can easily be scratched. The appearance in real life is better than in the photo . I recommend it !

Great quality for the price!

You won't find a better sound for the money, period! I bought a pair of the Alto TS312, because I needed lightweight and powerful good sounding powered speakers and I gotta tell you, very poweful, the clarity is great (I also use Electro-Voice ELX200-12P, and difference is very little), quite light and manageable around, the design is lovely and overall it's a great solution for small live situations, you can easily use them for parties or venues for more than 100 people.
Definitely get speaker covers, so you don't get to scratch them in and out from your car or while mounting them. Oh, and they also work great as floor monitors!
