I have the desk for 1 1/2 years every week to work with it and it has NEVER let me down. (Has not even crashed)

It is a pity you do not see it so many times, but in my opinion it is the Soundcraft SI consoles, X32, LS9, Roland, Presonus and everything there is in the range of 1000 to 6000 Euro consoles for lengths!

It plays rather already in the league of the 12 000 euro consoles with - where one wonders, what one still needs an iLive T-80?

The console is very compact, which saves a lot of space on the FOH and is therefore not a problem if you are using it as a tape console at festivals - thanks to the flexible drag and drop layout of the channels, the workflow is incredibly flexible and damn fast in operation. The analogue-simulated channelstrip makes analog fans friends of the GLD.

A commercially available Cat5 cable is in most Venues eh already rum and so it makes incredibly fun to use this tool always with.

My use is currently on tour with livebands ... among others, 32 inputs and 5 stereo IEM mixes via iPad remote. The thing keeps our backs clear, expands our possibilities, guarantees every night a FATTEN sound and does not need to hide next to VI4s, Pro6 and other large consoles at festivals.

(Reverbs, plates, delays, pitch shifters, various chorus effects, multiband compressors, transient designers, sub-harmonics, etc.) Have yet another AirportExpress installed in the cable bay of the case for WiFi iPad remote and audio streaming. On the app even whole soundchecks and shows can drive, if times must be.

The computer seat is NOT in the stage box, but in the console, so you can bring the console to the start, PA fit, while the Stagebox is still built and wired. Unfortunately, there is no redundant cable between the stagebox and the desk, but if you use decent cables and cables in cable jacks, this is usually no problem and with the compared to analogue Multicores cheap prices of the CAT5 cable you can also regularly a new one Allow If the cable from the desk or stagebox is disconnected during operation, everything is interrupted. If you put it back again, the desk without reboot immediately the Stagebox and all signals are there without cracking. Once the current is gone, the console goes out, but all the last settings are returned after the boot process. Because of the longer boot times for all digipuls, a small UPS is recommended to bypass small current times. (Ups ... wrong cable staked out)

With the optional DANTE Card, the entire world is also open for liverecording and digital signal sending and receiving with other consoles (digital splitt for monitor / FOH consoles ...)

Whether it's a festival, a concert, a club gig or an industrial job, the purchase is more than worth it - wherever I go with the console, there are only amused looks - after the show, the respect for the sound. An absolutely reliable tool with which one can make good money and not even overstrapaziert its money bag!

Strong points :

- the sound is very good. I used to work on a Yamaha DM1000 and I could compare the two. With your eyes closed, you can not tell which one is turning. I've never tried a better table so I can just say it's at an entirely correct level for a semi pro.
