I had been conteplating picking up Serato for some time, and when my mixer died I realised I needed to get on the search for a new one.

That's when a friend of mine picked up a Xone 43c. After a few sessions and many hours spent playing with this badman I didn't hesitate to get one of my own.

In additon to the three band mixer channels it's got a really FAT filter that includes a high, low and bandpass channel. You can also toggle whether it's sent through the fx send which is really handy - and very, very fun with something like a Kaoss Pad.

To summarise, if you're considering getting Serato and are happy spending a little bit more for a really good mixer then don't hesitate, get the Xone 43c!

I had the predecessor Xone 42 and he was great!
Now visually spiced up and with Integrated 4-fach sound card. Got Win 8 and Virtual DJ Pro. That worried me about the missing description.
And then the thing came. Connected and installation description searched in vain. No plug and play! But after tel. Request at Thoman (Department DJ) immediately get competent information. Thanks for that!!!
So at Allen & Heath the driver and the installation instructions downloaded and already funzt everything with Vjd7.

Urgently needed would be a mono switch (both L & R together and again separated) Then each box plays the same. Important for small weddings, because the left sitting hear only the left box and the right ....

Rest comes later after a long-term test!
Have him now 6 months as a mobile disco (parties, corporate weddings, etc.) in use and I am completely convinced!
Runs (installed in rack) stable and with great sound.
Only the shielding of the enclosed printer cable makes it sometimes shaky. The switched-mode power supply of the built-in radio microphone should have been guilty of it.
Since the use of a better shielded Hama cable for a good 20 euros from the laptop to the mixer is also this story!
Conclusion: great sound! Stable audio transmission even with Virtual DJ and great pots make the missing mono switch to the small stuff!
All around highly recommended!
Attention! Allen & Heath has only 1 year warranty! There is the Thoman 3 year warranty a good rest!
