I love it! But...

This pedal sounds good, is beautifully constructed, and has a ton of excellent features. There are a lot of great YouTube videos showing off the sounds so go check 'em out. 6 different delay modes, each with two or more configurable parameters in addition to the usual controls, and four presets. The simplicity of other pedals will suit some people better but at the expense of configurability.

Such a full feature set needs a day or two to become accustomed to the controls but it's not difficult at all. The manual is short but includes everything you need to know. The "multi jack" can be used for tap tempo, preset access, expression pedal, or midi control. The pedal I received had older firmware and included only 7 of the 8 4HD modes but the firmware update was easy and very fast (see their website for instructions) and everything works as expected.

The sounds are good, not copies of vintage legends but all good.

Firmware updates are available from the Alexander website, super fast and easy to do.

UPDATE ONE MONTH LATER: I'm having issues with the tap tempo and another bug or two. Alexander Customer Service have been very attentive and sending me new firmware to test but I'm at the point where I'm questioning keeping the pedal.

NOTE: Common to many digital pedals, if you power this pedal off a daisy chain you may have unpleasant noise to deal with. A power supply with isolated outputs is a MUST HAVE.
