Small format, HUGE performance

Honestly, this amp does it all.
The cleans are nice and warm, but have snap to them. Sounds just as good with my humbuckers as with my single coils.
Channel 1 is nicely textured, dynamic, has a very nice growl to it.
Channel 2 is a high gain monster, and engaging the preamp focus made me instantly throw away my precision drive and tube screamers. It sounds so tight, full, and dynamic. It's great for anything from standard tuning rock to 7 string djent mayhem.

The midi function is easy to use and pairs up really well with my Helix (which i use to control the Kraken). It's easy to make custom presets on the amp so you can switch patches accordingly.

In short, the amp is wonderful. It's tight, it's chewy, it's dynamic and it's so versatile. I can't recommend it enough!

Everything I hoped

First I want to thank Thomann for shipping this excellent amp, with excellent speed, for an excellent price to the US and getting it here in perfect condition. (as well as the Kraken 2x12). Thank you.
I've played on and off mostly on for 20 years and recently moved to 7 strings. I use the amp and cab for jamming with firends, drums and bass. Owned a few Peavey heads, some mesa, a DSL 100, ENGL Fireball, Kemper Powerhead, Blackstar Series One. Almost always through a 1960AV
I was last using a Kemper with a V4 Kraken in the loop. Found myself only wanting to use the Kraken. So I sold the Kemper and V4 for Super Kraken and 2x12. Its everything I hoped. The build quality is some of the best Ive seen. Right up there with Mesa, way better than Marshall or Blackstar. I noticed looking inside was custom name brand transformers. No faults in appearance or construction. The foot switches are a bit cumbersome but I use MIDI and it's perfectly implemented on the amp. The sound is exactly what you hope it will be and then some. Punchy, gritty and warm.

Great tones, very easy to control. I use it for metal, and in combination with the precision drive the results are outstanding.
The only cons are the lacking of the 6 way footswitch present in the description, not included in the pack. There are 2 footswitches, but they are enough.

Great amp

Sounds great with single coil, humbucker and active pickups.
Clean channel is great but the crunch with gain 1 and 2 is absolutely fantastic.
It's versatile and dynamic amp.
