Thomann Class.Guit. Fibreglass Case RD

L'étui a deux points très positif : il est pratique (bretelles sur un étui rigide, c'est rare et vraiment bien), et est esthétiquement très réussi. Bon l'higromètre c'est vraiment pour la frime...
En revanche, la qualité de fabrication n'est pas top. La peinture saute au moindre petit choc, les attaches ne semblent pas très solide, le matériau de revêtement n'a pas l'air solide non plus (je n'ose pas m'asseoir dessus, ce que je fais sans dommage et sans me poser de question avec mon étui hiscox, et je ne l'utiliserais jamais pour un trajet en avion avec, par ex).
Et pour finir, l'étui étant vraiment TRÈS ajusté à la guitare, vérifiez bien que CHAQUE élément de votre guitare ne dépasse pas (moi j'avais tout mesuré, sauf la tête... Et la tête ne passe pas ?')
Bref, malgré l'esthétique et les bretelles, la prochaine fois je prendrai un hiscox.

Initial review: 2015 - The case seems very solid and well made. My guitar is a nice, snug fit. A little extra room for tuner and strings would have been nice, but not at the expense of extra size (that is just the tiniest of minor comments).
I have been looking for this all my life; now I have it.
Dec-2017 update - I am still very pleased with this case, which protects my cherished guitar the way I have always wanted. How to improve it? Make it from a Kevlar / Carbon Fibre / Foam sandwich... Whoops! The price just tripled!!

With this case, I made three flights across Europe. Due to the rigid construction of the case body, my guitar successfully returned home without any damage. On tour I had to walk a lot. And again the case did not disappoint me. Two conveniently located and soft belts securely held my musical luggage behind my back. The balance of the location of the belt is good, because when carrying the case in this way the back does not get tired. It should be added that 6 Nickel-plated snap locks securely hold the case in the closed state, and that is not unimportant, you can close the key, which will exclude anyone except you from entering your tool. Very easy to carry transfer in hand. The dimensions inside fit perfectly for my flamenco guitar, which also means that the standard classical guitar will fit perfectly in the case. Due to the rubber seals water ingress, moisture in the inside excluded. A hygrometer is a very useful thing. Always prompts the moisture level inside the case, which is not unimportant for experienced guitarists. Accessory pocket, I was allowed to take the necessary number of spare strings in a musical journey. It should be noted that for a hard case the weight is optimal. I found on Thomann six variants of color cases, you can choose for any occasion.

Bought this one for my new guitar and after a good week in use here are my thoughts:

- It's good but nothing great either, it protects well and looks very nice. The clamps seem sturdy enough.

- I wouldn't really trust the little pouch on the inside to put in a tuner or even a capo as it doesn't seem to be in there very secure.

- The foam interior is good and feels like it'll protect the guitar well.

- And at last, the carrying straps aren't very handy to use the way they attach to the case for a shorter person like me.
