Lakewood M-32 CP

Guitare achetée pour du fingerstyle, ce pour quoi elles est manifestement faite. Le son est très riche et le sustain énorme. Il faut aimer les manches larges, ce qui est mon cas, je n'ai pas les mains de Mike Dawes.
Une fois cet aspect admis, on ne peut rien lui reprocher. La finition est exemplaire, la belle est facile à jouer et à faire sonner. On prend un grand plaisir à faire sonner des pièces simples juste pour profiter des résonances de l'instrument.
La justesse est excellente aussi.

Gratulation an Martin Seeliger und sein Team von der Fa. Lakewood! Die M-32CP ist heute noch so eingestellt wie sie ausgeliefert wurde, nach 3 Monaten Benutzung. Alles war perfekt, die Verarbeitung, äußerlich wie auch im Inneren der Gitarre, sehr sauber, alles optimal eingestellt. Das ist selbst bei hochwertigen Gitarren nicht immer so, meistens muss irgendetwas korrigiert werden. Ich besitze mehrere davon: u.a. Taylor 914ce, Larrivée OMV-10, Martin HD-28. Alle haben ihre spezifischen Stärken, aber die beste Allround-Akustikgitarre ist in meinen Augen die Lakewood. Der Korpus ist etwas kleiner als bei den vergleichbaren Instrumenten, aber der Ton ist durchsetzungsstark und sehr sauber vom tiefsten Bass- bis zum höchsten Diskantbereich, gleiche Lautstärke, gleiche Tonfärbung, keine störenden Resonanzen und keine „dead spots“. Ich hatte gedacht, die Taylor sei nicht zu schlagen. Obwohl bei weitem nicht die teuerste in der Runde, ist die M-32CP derzeit mein unbestrittener Favorit. Die Bespielbarkeit der Gitarre ist für mich optimal, sicher auch wegen des angenehmen (etwas breiteren) Halses. Auch das ab Werk eingebaute Pickup-System von L.R. Baggs Anthem ist sehr gut, für meinen Geschmack noch angenehmer als das Taylor Expression System oder das Fishman Matrix Ellipse. Nur ein System kann es m.E. mit dem Anthem aufnehmen, das in Maton-Gitarren verbaute AP-5, welches bei meinen Verstärkern und den vor- und nachgeschalteten anderen Geräten sehr natürlich klingt.

Der Kauf der Gitarre, wie immer bei Thomann, war ganz entspannt in angenehmer Umgebung mit kompetenter Beratung. Nach gemischten Erfahrungen mit anderen deutschen Gitarrenherstellern weiß ich jetzt, dass „Made in Germany“ doch mit „Made in USA“ oder „Made in Japan“ qualitativ gut mithalten kann.
