Toujours du bon chez Hartke

C'est un fabricant dont j'ai toujours apprécié. J'ai voulu changer de baffle qui était beaucoup plus lourd que celui-ci.
Le son est bon grâce au mélange aluminium et carton des HPs. Elles sont solides et encaissent bien.
Par contre, le revêtement pourrait être meilleur. Il marque assez vite.

Cette enceinte pour la BASSE joue fort, clair et propre, beaucoup de puissance dans une enceinte compacte et légère. Cela sonne bien avec l’ampli Hartke LH1000.

I cannot quite believe how good these cabinets sound. Coupled with a Hartke LH500 with the Bass, Middle & Treble set to 12 o'clock it was instant tone without even making any adjustments on the active bass. The bright switch really does give the sound a lift to cut through the mix and the limiter is also a very handy built in feature.

They look superb, very modern but not too aggressive, seem to be well built and the switchable horn is a very hand feature. Weight and size wise they are very manageable indeed, very compact.

I cannot fault them, and I have one of most things these days and I would rate this against the best of them.

The grille in front rings bad. If you are recording and using a microphone it should be removed, the sound quality is not bad, but it is stylistically limited. It's a good idea to combine it with a 15 "to make sound more fat. Otherwise, there's enough power for performances and rehearsals with a band to crush drums and other instruments. Naturally, you'll need a suitable head.
