Hammond Melodion PRO-44H V2

Ayant acheté le Höhner Airboard 37 il y a quelques années, j'ai pris goût à jouer de cet instrument. J'ai ensuite senti la nécessité de m'orienter vers un produit qui faisait moins jouet (finition plastique) et sonnait moins "cheap" et avoir dans les mains un instrument de musique professionnel.

Le Hammond PRO-44H V2 m'a vraiment surpris. Le son est doux et rond. L'expressivité permet de gérer les nuances avec finesse. Le toucher est fluide avec un retour rapide. De très bonne facture.
Je ne mets que 4/5 étoiles pour le son car les graves sonnent un peu moins bien à mon goût. De même pour la qualité de fabrication, 4/5 car je trouve dommage que les embouts soient en plastique.

La sortie Jack est un vrai plus !

acheté en urgence pendant la réparation de son grand frère 44HP V2 sur lequel une anche avait cassé.
bien :
- même confort de jeu
- les variations de souffle ont moins d'effet sur la hauteur des notes, l'accordage semble plus facile
- le son est finalement plus fin et plus agréable.
- donne l'impression de plus de stabilité dans le temps, à vérifier
moins bien :
- les anches graves sont un peu fermées d'origine et se bloquent facilement

I use this product for reggae & dub music especially in the harmonic minor scale and this piece of equipment is FANTASTIC! I've never heard a melodica/melodion sound this way, it completely blew my mind (in a positive way)!
The sound is really "full" and has great lower register all the way up to the top.
Even on the highest notes the sound is not "piercing" as in many other melodicas but rather sweet and nice!

Negatives: Didn't find any as of yet and I don't think there will be any issues either.

I understand fully why this instrument is priced as it is. This is a INSTRUMENT and not a plastic toy as many others in this group of instruments! You get what you pay for.

Conclusion: Best instrument in this group of instruments. In a league of its own!

If you're looking for a melodion/melodica, this one or maybe the HP version if you're looking for a brighter sound is the way to go!

Alles in allem ein wirklich hochwertiges Instrument, dem man anmerkt, dass es nicht aus Plastik ist. Die Klangfarbe ist vertraut und unterscheidet sich im Wesentlichen nicht stark von der Klangfarbe der günstigeren Alternativen, der Klang ist jedoch klar und das Instrument ist gut in tune. Im direkten Vergleich beispielsweise zur Hohner fällt mir auf, dass das Instrument etwas ausgewogener in der Lautstärke bleibt, wenn man Akkorde spielt, sprich die Lautstärke nicht so stark abfällt, wenn man mehr als einen Ton gleichzeitig spielt. Das interne Mikrofon macht den Klang in meinen Augen, ääh ich meine natürlich Ohren (!), etwas verwaschener als er sein könnte, außerdem ist der rausgegebene Pegel nicht sonderlich hoch, für Live aber sicherlich geeignet. Hingegen ist die Verarbeitung des Instruments wirklich gut, ebenfalls finde ich die "Nubsis", um einen herkömmlichen Gitarrengurt anzubringen, äußerst praktisch, da es das Spielen mit beiden Händen im Stehen ermöglicht. Die mitgelieferte Tasche macht einen soliden Eindruck.

Das Instrument ist sehr gut verarbeitet und klingt klasse. Jedoch erzeugt man auch mit den günstigen Alternativen sehr ähnliche Klänge. Die extra Töne im Bass und selbst die zwei Töne mehr in Höhen würde ich jetzt allerdings auch nicht mehr hergeben wollen, weshalb das Instrument in jedem Fall bei mir bleibt.
