A dream come true

For a long time I have played guitar but only after 25 years did I buy my first American Fender Strat. The wait was worth it. This guitar looks, feels and plays like a dream. It went out of tune quite easily at the beginning but this was probably due to the temperature changes the guitar suffered during the shipment, also, Strats are known to have this problem, so nothing unknown or unexpected.
As a special gesture, Thomann had a little surprise for me and the guitar they sent me is the very one used for their catalogue, the one you see on this site. Kudos to Thomann, they made a special occasion be even more special, they even sent a nice note and a professional photography of my guitar wishing me to have many more pictures on stage, studio or wherever I want to play it.

Strat lovers can't go wrong with this one

I have always liked a lot the sound and versatility of Stratocasters and own more than one. The AM Pro II is a an excellent instrument with novel features compared to previous models (e.g., American Standard). The option to combine bridge and neck or all three pick-ups with the pull-pull tone knob is very attractive, adding new sound possibilities to the classic five positions selector. The newly designed pick-ups deliver an excellent and well balanced tone, pretty much using all positions. The neck finish feels really good and it is very nice to play. The model with the sunburst finish has a pine body. If anything, it feels slightly lighter than a comparable alder model. Start lovers can't go wrong with this one.

This is my first Strato made in USA. It's clearly a level above the others.
Finishing is great.
A pleasure to play.
After the first week of testing, I am still extremely satisfied.

Två av mickarna var inte fastskruvade på ena sidan. Svajarmen går bra att trycka in men fodrar mycket kraft att dra loss. Knoppen på svajarmen är helt lös, går ej att gänga fast på armen som mäter 4,8 mm?? 09 strängar som sitter på låter väldigt olika högt, i synnerhet g-strängen dominerar. I övrigt: Mycket hög finish, bra ljudkaraktär, lättspelad och känns "helt rätt" !!
