Dotzauer is known for quality, and my purchase of this parforce horn confirmed that. The response throughout the range was excellent, and intonation "dead-on". Dynamics were accurately produced from pianissimo to fortissimo, with great ease. This is an instrument that commands respect when played well. I am extremely pleased with the craftsmanship and quality. I am a professional horn performer in the United States of America. I have recently retired from full-time teaching in public school, and now devote my time to free-lance performing and guest lecturing. The parforce horn is relatively unknown in the U.S., something that I wish change among my many horn colleagues. The wonderful staff at Thomann assisted me every step of the way through the details of exporting this instrument to me in the United States. Thank you to all!
