I have paid for this drum-set in 2 installments and awaited the arrival of the monster-us drums. It finally came in my letterbox. it took maybe 5 hours to set it up and what people don't seem to say, is, you do not NEED to connect to a wireless network for the Primes Module, i downloaded 1.02 ver update, Formatted a USB stick in DOS Format, placed the update onto the USB stick (on its own - not inside a folder). and updated the Prime Module that way. i am still getting used to its setup and all the different options that come with this module.

Building custom drum sounds from the BFD engine, that was easy to do.
I noticed in a review of the Strata Prime, the modules OS is "Open Source"!
The module runs on Linux, so for those who use Linux, only we understand how forgiving Linux is on hardware and this is Really good because the module just may last a long time, as long as one keeps it updated.
I found It MAPs with different DAWS, But, can not make it work on FL Studio 24.
I managed to figure this out using EZDrummer-3 and MAPPED the Alesis Strata Prime successfully inside FL Studio, so, as i did, i also made a video on how to do this, Link >>>> is in-case others are interested in recording with MIDI with the Alesis Prime.
One can even play live Gigs with the Alesis Prime, because it is sturdy and caters a lot of the BFD sounds from the Primes Module Engine.
The feel of this Drum-set is quite good and it is, a hard to beat product. I may get many happy years from this drum-set.
