Great value for your money
As someone who used to always go for the cheapest option in drumsticks, I was hesitant to go up to a higher price class, thinking "eh, they'll break quickly anyway."
But after my first try with these sticks, I am never going back to the cheap brands. The difference in maneuverability, feel and especially durability is profound.
I have since also tried some more high-end options, but I feel the standard Vic Firth 5As strike a good balance between quality and cost.
All in all, very good quality sticks for a decent price. 6/5 would recommend!

The go-to stick
The 5A American Classic Hickory gives me the perfect balance and power to play all sorts of music from slow doom to fast hardcore. The attack is fast and clear and the tip is just the right size and form. I go through the whole lot of these when shopping at the local music store and inspect the roots of the tips because that's where they brake if the wood goes the wrong way. In the end the rim shots eat the sticks away at the centre and they finally give up but that usually takes a pretty long time to happen. Quality product!

Vertaillessa esim. Balbexiin tuntuu kestävän huomattavasti pidempään. Hyvä pito käteen. Eri pareissa jonkun verran painoeroja.

My standard!
A classic and very basic drum sticks. They feel good in the hands of beginners as well as advanced players. They are fairly durable and last pretty long. The weight differences a bit between different models, but for my use, these work very well. There is not much else to say about these, they are great!

An excellent drum stick
Vic Firth 5a has been my standard drum stick for years and these sticks never fail to meet my expectations. I have tried many other brands and models, but I always keep coming back to the Vic Firth 5a.
These sticks offer a perfect balance between feel, power and speed. Practically what takes Vic Firth 5a above everything else is that they are suitable for literally any kind of music. These are agile and soft enough for jazz as well as fast and powerful enough for heavier styles and everything in between.
Vic Firths are also unquestionably the most durable drumsticks that I have ever tried. An excellent drum stick indeed.

Thomannilta saa halvalla klassikko kapulaa vicfirt 5a joka ei esittelyjä liikaa kaipaa. Ehkä määilman käytetyin kapula sekä joka sopii joka tyyliin ja jokaiseen käteen.
Nettikaupasta ostaessa ei toki pääse kapuloita katsomaan ja valitsemaan jyviä akanoista kuten sanotaan mutta suosittelenkin ostamaan 10 parin pakkauksia jotka on muoveissa jolloin kapulat ei ole pässeet kuivumaan liikaa kuten perinteisen soitinkupan hyllyssä seisoessan.
