the product name is thomann sound olive but the weird packaging says "rattlesnake egg" and looks like a prank toy rather than an instrument package. the magnets work well and are not too powerful (so that they would really hurt when slamming together). Sound is great and just as expected, it's a joy to play with.

The product was smaller than i thought so i think thomann should ABSOLUTELY add a note that these should not be given to a child alone (very easy to swallow because of the shape and smooth surface!!!). Either this should not be in children's category or there should be pretty clear warning not to let children play unsupervised.

mukava lisä

Näitä mukava nakella, käytän piiseissä yleensä helistimien kans samaan aikaan, magneetit aika voimakkaat. Pienikokoiset ja välillä kova homma löytää nämä, aina kuitenkin löytyneet, tilaan pari lisää piakkoin, mukava lisuke ja vaihtelua noihin normisoittimiin, pidän , kiitos

Kaksi oliivin muotoista magneettia

Tästä tuotteesta on vaikea sanoa paljoa. Magneettien vetovoima on tarpeeksi reipas ja se pitää sirisevää ääntä kun kolahtavat toisiinsa.
Omasta mielestä hinta ei ole liian yli hilseen mutta ehkä 50 senttiä pois niin olisi järkevämpi hinta

This is not a percussive instrument. I can't imagine anyone keeping the rhythm with these things.
It's two metal bead-shaped magnets. They produce sound similar to two big metal balls hitting each other, and then processed with a quick pitch shifting delay. So, you get something like a short "BZzzng".
You can make some frequency range of that sound ('more highs' or 'more mids') more pronounced, depending on the way you're holding the beads.
You can hold one bead and drop the second from 1-2cm. You can put ring finger between them, and then trigger the upper part of one of them using index finger, thus 'playing' it with a single hand.
All in all, a very limited range of sounds and very complicated to keep rhythm with. Also, the sound is not useful in most of the music genres. If you do need it, you'll probably sample it and then use beads as a fidget.
