Does what you'd expect

It's surprisingly big in real life. It does what you'd expect by the pictures. There's a plastic divider protecting the foam from the equipment department, but that was completely loose, rattling in the botton in my unit, so minus points for quality. However I don't think that's a crucial part or feature for this box.

Great case for storing, transportation and protection of microphones. We use it for a mobile church in Romania. Space for storing 12 mics and also dedicated space for accessories (suficient for storing a small number of cables).
The mics area (left side) has foam also on bottom, so you can store SDC condenser mics head-down without worying of damaging or scratching the grill area.
The accessories area (right side) has no foam on sides or bottom so be careful to not damage your accessories (I store my shockmount in the paper package before puting it in this case).

Cheap & Cheerful

I have one of these and the Gator 15 mic equivalent for two different workplaces, and the quality difference is huge - but so is the price.

Pros:
Considerably cheaper than other similar cases
Plenty of room in the non-foam section
Deep mic holes useful for taller mics (certain shotgun mics fit in this that dont fit in the more expensive Gator case)
Outer box very strong.

Cons:
The locking latch mechanism on this box is simple but doesn't feel overly sturdy or secure, and the same can be said of the hinges, which could easily sever a patch cable or such if it got caught.
Handle is uncomfortable if case is heavy or if you have big hands.
Foam mic insert isn't very sturdy or secure - the partition between it and the non-foam part is literally a thin sheet of plastic glued to the side of the foam part.

In short: if you're storing and carry mics and bits-and-bobs and don't need them to very secure or to travel very far, this is ideal. If you need to move expensive mics, or the case is liable to encounter a lot of wear-and-tear or heavy use, this is not ideal.

New case for Mics

Decided I needed a new case for Mics so picked the MIC12. Pleasantly surprised by the quality of this unit which now holds 57's 58's 170mm condensor and an MD431 which surprised me. The clip/accessory compartment is a good size ...and this leads to my only negative comment...the compartment isnt lined so if you have loose clips they will be rattle around...however an application of 1/8" case foam solves this slight negative nicely...overall pleased with the purchase.
