Good PA to start with

We purchased a set of these speakers for our band. We use them mainly at our rehearsals but also did one small gig with them. We play thrash metal and use the speakers for vocals and bass drum.

Good basic PA speakers that are easy to use and delivers the possibility to hear vocals over hardcore thrashing :)

We have faced one downside with the speaker. The diaphragm has broke down multiple times in short time periods. I believe it is because this is not the most pro system out there and we have probably been playing too loud for these speakers. Nevertheless I thinks they have broken before their time....
But then again it is easy an inexpensive to replace the broken diaphragm.

Close quality to more expensive speakers such as Mackie Thump Series...

Originally I was looking for a pair of speakers which were easily portable and still had enough power to use with small events and festivals, in the end I decided to go the next level model of Tbox active speakers which I have used extensively over the last 2 years for around 100 varying gigs and shows.

As far as power goes they are perfect, being biamped the load is shared between the bass and treble and as result have only ever had a problem with them once through my own fault of putting a little too much signal through them which unfortunately cracked the internal voice coil, but they are easily replaceable with the parts/serial number and are readily available from various other audio stores and retailers.

They sound great for the price, they're clear and bassy in the right amounts and usefully have a low cut for quieter events such as acoustic shows or vocal applications. Contrary to that they also have a clip level on the back panel of the speakers for the louder events you might use them for. They even come with monitor stands should you wish to use them for larger venues or stages.

All in all they are great speakers and hold their own in direction, clarity and build quality compared to similar Behringer or Mackie speakers.

I brought a pair of these as i already have a pair of 302`s which perform as well as my thumps ,these are even better and mean sometimes i don`t need additional subs !! they are a bit on the heavy side but the sound is worth the effort
