Stereo is the way to go.
Cons:
I miss a volume knob. Instead of thightness there could be a master volume knob. Wet & Dry controll the balance but when diminishing the overall volume level also diminishes. This pedal will not sound like two, or three guitars, and thus the "doubler name" is a bit missleading. It´s more like a (awesome) spatial effect.
Signal chain. I found that best result is to have it before my stereo delays,
and reverbs. Mono in, stereo out. When having it last in the chain, stereo in and out, my halo for example started sound like there was phaser included.
Pros:
When switcing off you (Well me at least, and my friend) instantly notice that, it´s gotta be on man! All the fun dissapears from your playing when you switch it off :D This is not necessarily though a always on pedal, even when it makes a hefty punch to your gritty sound or solos.
Biggest suprise for me was that, I´ve been looking for a long time for that intimate, near, in your face, kind a room sound to base on.
What I mean, you can hear best when you have a totally dry and clean sound when comparing the difference. I use overdrives and distortions and I think it´s there where mimiq absolutely shines. Switch pos. 1 is what I prefer the most. Then again, using pos. 2 and 3 work really nice with clean reverbs, delays and so on. Those reeeally widen your sound.
So conclusion: Software update is a must. After update I found, that muddy kind of base, and loss of gritt clarity was gone. Also the wet & dry knobs felt a bit more responsive. I think best use for this is for a single guitar player in a band in live situations. Using Mimiq in studio e.g. you can make parts pop up nicely. I never was really satisfied with my EQP Hizumitas. This pedal, whoaaa, it took it to a whole new level. So something like that can happen as well
Postively, for this money, I ordered one thing, but got totally something else what I didn´t expect. Absolutely worth trying, but as I started, stereo is the way to go.

Sounds good, and widens the stereo image nicely. No wonder so many people use it!
