DMX & AES/EBU cable sold by the metre

The Binary is an outstanding cable for the transmission of digital signals in the 110 Ω AES/EBU and DMX data format.

Its shielding is provided by an aluminium-vaporised fleece and a helical copper mesh screen with 100 % coverage.

As such, it offers very good protection against electric and magnetic interferences.

This cable ensures an error-free data transfer over distances of up to 100 metres.

With the BINARY you’ll always be on the safe side.

The cable is flexible, and has a great jacket, being both tough and soft at the same time. it coils beautifully, easy to make, the inner cable jackets are firm and easily stripped . overall a great cable and will definitely back for more!

J'ai choisi ce câble car il me permet d'utiliser les mêmes câbles pour l'audio analogique et le DMX tout en étant sûr de ne pas avoir de problème dans les deux cas.

Il est facile à souder. Plutôt souple pour du câble conçu pour du numérique.

Dans les points négatifs, je trouve que le tressage du blindage est beaucoup moins résistant aux flexions que le Klotz OT206SW qui évolue dans la même gamme de prix.

De plus, ce câble garde facilement en mémoire les contraintes: c'est ok pour des montages/démontages occasionnels. En revanche, pour de la presta intensive, j'irais sur du câble plus cher mais de meilleure qualité.

Top cable for pro use

Very easy do solder.
Very easy to coil.
Have many meters and never had a failed cable.
Sommer is my choice if pro rental is in question.

Happy but

The cable is good and do well its job. It is flexible and allow an easy pack down. When highly bend it seems not to suffer permanent damage but the inner cables fall deeper into the outer cable..
I have mixed feelings about this problems.
Although I recommend it for sensitive, mobile and fix installation.
