I was very happy with this practice head.

It is a great addition to my DW GO Anywhere kit.

I like the response and found it to authentic in comparison to most practice pads.

A great purchase :)

a great, versatile product

I have never liked practicing on rubber pads, they never feel anything close to the real thing to me. This mesh pad is the closest to the snare drum feel for me and I am amazed how versatile in use (on a flat surface, on a stand, on top of a snare drum), real in articulation but quiet, and convenient it is. Highly recommended for quality of experience, a great value for money, too!

Good.. But to expesive

The mesh pad does everything it should. Its very quite and super thin so if you are travelling around it would be ideal. Tightening the mesh head can be a bit annoy as you have to get a wrench or a clamp to hold the nut while tightening with your key. My issue with the product is the price, at the end of the day its a mesh head with a rim, thats it. It doesn't justify the price. You can buy a mesh head and put it on a snare you don't use same thing way cheaper. In conclusion, Its a good product but just a bit expensive, if you're going on tour or space is an issue this is ideal.

Great piece of kit. Wanted something that was portable, responsive to the drumstick, quiet yet with some feedback from the snares. This does all. It's also tuneable so all requirements are catered for.
The only downside is that it doesn't seem to 'stick' to my snare drum head. The non-slip feet slip. Maybe I'm hitting it too hard. Maybe it's the negligible tilt on the snare. But all in all a great product.
