Kätevä pikkukiippari Boutique-moduleille

Ostin K-25m kiipparin yhdessä Roland Ju-06:sen kanssa. Modulin telakointi kiippariin kävi helposti. Kiipparin liitin, joka kytketään moduliin, oli aika jäykkä, mikä hieman vaikeutti liitäntää.

Koskettimisto on pieni ja vaatii hieman totuttelua. Koska koskettimisto on jo itsessään pieni, korkeat päätylaidat ärsyttävät käsiä.

Itse en juuri soita kiipparilla perinteisessä mielessä, vaan ohjelmoin nuotteja sekvensseriin. Jos haluaa revitellä sooloja syntikalla, suosittelen jotakin toista kiipparia.

Kiipparin takana on nostin, jolla voi säätää modulin asentoa. Nostin on ohuen muovinen ja vaikuttaa siltä, että voisi rikkoutua helposti.

Yksi kosketin ei toiminut pölyn vuoksi

Kätevä koskettimisto pienen kokonsa vuoksi. Alin kosketin oli uutena lähes toimimaton, koska tehtaalla koskettimen kumisen kytkimen väliin oli jäänyt hius. Youtubesta löytyi video, jossa näytettiin, miten laite avataan. Toisessa videossa näytettiin, miten Rolandin isomman keyboardin kosketushäiriöt korjattiin. Koskettimen alla on harmaa kumimatto, jonka alla on varsinainen hiilestä tehty kontaktipinta. Jos siellä on vaikka hius tai pölyä, kosketin ei toimi. Puhdistuksen jälkeen koskettimet toimivat moitteettomasti.

Essential for the boutiques

Bought this with the SH01A & wasn't disappointed.

Initially thought I would add value to the SH01A having the keyboard to go with it. Didnt want to have to spend more a few years later on the K25M if it was discontinued. I didnt think I'd use it as much, but the K25M is very useful for any boutique that has a step sequencer, as you can tap in notes so easily & the sequencer will follow on until you play it back. It definitely makes inputting notes more organic as you can play out an idea before inputting sequence data.

I find the keybed very good. It's no grand piano, but there was s a responsiveness to the keys that other units this size don't have. I've played chords & melodies with it & it does the job. Doesn't feel rattly or cheap.

The construction of the K25M is really good. 2 tough metal sides. Decent plastic base. The SH01A feels really solid inside it. The one con is the way you can tilt the boutique up with the SH01A. This is done with a small plastic 'foot' - similar to what you'll find on the back of a photoframe. Would be better if it had of been more robust. Also, its a little awkward to get the cable from the SH01A into the K25M. The Box acts as a good case for synth & keys. A good buy IMO.

I bought this for the ju-06 and it is a great accessory for the synth.

The unit is made of a metal chassis and is very solid. i felt the instructions on using the stant could have been a bit clearer but it is neat the way you can tilt the synth at different angles or have if flat down.

Playability is good with the velocity sensitive keys and it provides good protection for the synth module. it powers off a cable plugged into the back of the synth and installation of the cable is pretty easy.

A feature i would have liked to see on this would have been some octave buttons for changing the octave of the keyboard but this can be done through the extra functions on the synth itself if you need to drop outside the octaves available on the physical buttons.

To finish this is a well made rugged product and I would recommend it to anyone with a Roland Boutique series synth.
