These heads are great if you want to achieve a controlled warm sound, as they enhance the mid-low range frequencies of the drum.
The inlay ring around the inside of the head is a definite pro as it controls the sustain of the head just the right amount letting it breath a bit which gives you a lot of control over the sound live as a sound engineer can add more reverb if needed whether u want that controlled damp sound or a larger sounds.

I've been using Remo for ever and I have to say I really like these P4 Coated skins.

The tone is warm and a little bit crispy, my tom sound improved a lot with these skins. I play a mix of styles and I must say they sound good for all styles, especially for jazz when using brushes.

Would definitely recommend.

Hurra, endlich habe ich ein Fell gefunden das kurz und knackig mit dem richtigen Bums in die von mir gespielte Musikrichtung passt.
Die mich enorm störenden Obertöne wie bei den Remo Ambassador Fellen, sind fast gänzlich nicht mehr vorhanden und der Sustain erfreulicherweise "very short".
Fazit: Top geeignet für Hard and Heavy! Get it and have fun!
