Paiste Signature Line 18" Mellow Crash

On the way to optimal cymbal sound, a special Paiste Sound alloy made of patented bronze was developed for the Signature series. The result is instruments that have enjoyed growing recognition since their introduction in 1989 and have proven their worth in both studio and live use ever since. The sound has a high expressiveness and can be described as filigree, transparent, musical, sensitive and colourful.

The Mellow Crash of the Signature line offers a pretty, warm, solid crash with a full sound and short sustain. It can also be said to have a dry quality.

Sound: ein schöner heller warmer sehr voller Crashsound, der recht schnell anspricht. Uch die Glocke klingt sehr gut.
Ich habe bei Thomann einige Becken dieser Art getestet und bin mal wieder bei der Line-Serie von Paiste gelandet. Das Becken hat zwar einen relativ hohen Preis, ist aber vom Sound, von der Qualität und von der Verarbeitung (soweit ich das beurteilen kann) äußerst empfehlenswert!

Sorprendentemente, es más grave que el FULL CRASH 19. Tiene un rango dinámico muy alto. Desde suavísimo hasta fuerte, es un plato dulce, grave, limpio y de largo decay. Es un plato poderoso. Después de tener un Zildjian 18 dark crash como plato "principal", este ha sido el sustituto.
