Solid oscillator

Really nice sounding oscillator, with a nice waveshaper and sub oscillator built in.

Could do with an internal mixer to output the sub and the main wave at once, and the ability to turn off the sub wave with a gate seems a little pointless (although I'm sure someone has found a nice use for it :) )

The main downside is the lack of an octave switch, it's a real pain to have to re-tune it every time you want to shift it up or down an octave.

Good Tibral Oscillator

Good sounding oscillator. Shape control is very nice. Octave switch would come handy but that is not a problem. The only problem I have is not very precise tracking. When I run through 4 octaves on some notes it is about 15 cents off.

Pros:
-very musical sounding
-very musically patch-programmable for the most part.
-simple interface; easy to use
-intuitive for the most part (see cons for a subjective exception).
-suits well as a bass/lead voice.

Cons:
-At no (0v) pitch input, the module doesn't is *just* shy of reaching the most common LFO modulation territories. Bottom frequency is 4hz. Had it been able to reach ~0.5 to 1hz, it'd see use in so many more patches as a spare modulator for this or that.
-This is something of a personal preference and it just might suit *you*, but it'd been more practical for *me*, and functionally logical if the shape potentiometer kept being an offset rather than change to attenuation at the presence of an external signal to the shape jack. I think that normalling was over-eagerly engineered in this particular case. Maybe a future mk2 model could have a dual gang, tiered knob for both offset and attenuation?

Suono veramente di qualità, non credevo. Semplice da usare anche se non credo di aver esplorato a pieno tutte le sue capacità.
