Runner-up for best budget drum overheads
Tried these out in a recording session and they sure give all the budget-class favorites like Rode M5 a run for their money.
I noted that the mics have a pretty hefty boost in the AIR area around 5-10 KHz, so the energy in cymbals was a bit too much in the recording done in a badly treated room.
After EQ'ing out some of the harshness caused by the boost, the result was pretty great in the end. Don't get scared of that - every mic usually needs a bit of EQ post-recording, so I didn't mind it. The mics brought the hi-hat out really nicely, if that's something you need in your recording setup.
Also had great results recording acoustic guitars and piano, where the top end boost kinda worked out better than on cymbals.
Overall for the price, I don't think you can beat these on a budget. Rode M5's are about the same price and they offer a more balanced frequency response, but overall I think the Lewitt's have way better detail and soundstage.

Pikkuruiset mikit
Tiesin ostaessa, että tämä on kooltaan todella pieni mikki, mutta silti yllätyin, kun avasin paketin. Pienen koon vuoksi kulkevat helposti mukana. Olenkin koittanut rakentaa itselleni helposti liikkuvaa äänityskalustoa ja tämä mikkipari on nyt olennainen osa sitä.
Olen äänitellyt näillä perkussiivisia ääniä, kelloja ja laulua/puhetta. Ääni on selkeä ja kirkas, ja joissain tapauksissa joutuu vähän leikkaamaan liiankin kirkasta yläpäätä pois jälkikäteen, mutta se nyt ei ole omassa käytössä suuri ongelma. 140 Air -malli on suurempi, ja siinä saa säädettyä äänen väriä suoraan mikistä, mutta en kokenut itse tarvetta tälle ominaisuudelle.
