Kemper Profiling Amplifier Power Rack + Remote Control

Kemper Profiling technology allows the creation of a very precise tonal image (profile) of an existing amplifier configuration (including speaker & miking). Thanks to the many internal editing options, such as: diverse effects unit emulations (up to 4 simultaneously), master effects, EQ, gain, amp definition, power sagging etc., you can edit the sound created far beyond the capabilities of the original amplifier. The Kemper Profiling Amplifier comes with an already large number of outstanding amplifier profiles, which is why the creation of individual ones is not mandatory. Thus it is now possible to map the sound of your own amplifier accurately, and if desired, to modify and have available to practice in the studio or on stage without a lot of lugging about.

Kemper Profiling Amp PowerHead Set

Ostin vihdoin tämän Kemperin. Mielestäni kannattaa ehdottomasti ostaa kerralla versio, jossa on päätevahvistin. Mulla Kemper tulee livekäyttöön, joten on selvää, että Remote on myös pakollinen lisävaruste. (Remoten voi erikseen vaan Kemperin omasta kaupasta...)

Ensimmäinen ajatus oli, että miksi ihmeessä en ole ostanut tätä aikaisemmin, on tää sen verran hyvä peli. Tähän on saatavilla pilvinpimein maksullisia profiileja ihan_mistä_vaan vahvistimesta. Tähän kun investoi, ei vahvistinprofiilit maksa käytännössä enää yhtään mitään. Itse en ole alkanut profiloimaan vahvistimia, vaikka sekin on tällä aika helppoa hommaa. Uskon, että hyvän tuloksen saamiseksi ne pitää tehdä studio-olosuhteissa.

Lähes kaikki, mitä miettii että "ois hyvä jos tässä vois tehdä" tällä onnistuu. Vahva suositus.

Jos haluat laitteesta kaiken irti kunnolla, niin osta ihmeessä Mission Engineerin pedaalit kylkeen. Itse ostin lisäksi vielä kaapin ja Thomannin omat kantopussit kummallekin.

Seuraava homma ois saada tämä toimimaan akkarilla, mutta luulen, että sekin onnistuu varmasti...

Kitaravahvistimen uusi aikakausi

Tähän astiset kokemukseni koti ja keikka olosuhteissa ovat lähinnä miellyttäviä. Vaatii reilusti sisäänajoan ja totuttelua. Äärimmäisen monipuolinen kokonaisuus jonka sisäistäminen on lähinnä velvollisuus, jotta sen suorituskyky saadaan voittopuolisesti valjastettua käyttöön. Suosittelen käyttöohjeen huolellista läpikäyntiä ennen laitteen varsinaista ruuvaamista.
Valmiina valtavasti profiileja laitteessa valmiina ja niitä päivitetään usein. Omia profiileja kokeilin muttei ne jääneet käyttöön. Kokonaisuutena hieno laite joka on korvannut edellisen 20u:n putkiräkin efektilaitteineen.
Paluuta entiseen ei ole.

Best thing I've bought

This seems expensive, but I've now had this a couple of years and have probably saved as much money in valves, amp servicing, patch leads, power blocks, batteries, velcro, hinges... chiropractor (I ain't joking). I have also sold a few of my pedals.
As well as playing semi pro, I also engineer and often take my Kemper for guitarists to use because its so much easier and sounds better than rigging multiple cabs. They always look a little scared at all the lights and knobs but always and the gig by saying they wish they had one.
Serious kit. Serious fun. Seriously do not regret a penny.

I have this about a month now and I am still only scratching the surface of what it can do. The definition of the tone is superior studio quality and its versatile beyond description. The peddle is also a great addition to the Kemper.

The only bad thing about the Profiler is that if you have a cheap guitar or pickups aren't wired properly, it becomes extremely noticeable very quickly. I hadn't noticed any noise with my previous rig but the definition of sound is so precise that it demands perfection from all elements of your set up. Which can only be a good thing really!

I had to adjust the truss and rewire pickups on one of my guitars but now everything sounds amazing. There is a good noise gate on the Kemper as well but be mindful not to over use it (as this can also cause buzzing - depending on your guitar)

The only other thing i noticed was that the sound from the headphone jack in the Kemper sounded way better then if using the headphone jack in an interface. You have to change settings in the kemper in order to fix this issue. Small problems! The thing is a beast. Buy it.
