Beautiful colour, great finish, very pleased with the quality and stability

My first cello case, so didn't know fully what to expect. First impression: nice finish inside and out, beautiful colour, strong factory smell. First hurdle: trying to close the case - it proved very tricky at first, the 2 sides didn't want to come together, and I almost considered sending it back, but my cello teacher told me that it's normal with new cases and that the plastic seals will get shaped with time.

The case is very stable when standing up, closed or open, so the cello can be taken out of it with the case standing up or laying horizontally.

The case is quite light, obviously with the cello inside it's quite some weight to carry (I use the backpack straps, which are wide and padded), but I know that some cases are double the weight!

On the whole, really pleased with quality, and now that I know that the closing process is just something to get used to, I can say that it's really a fantastic case for the price.

passgenau und stabil

Das Cello ist im Koffer sicher gelagert, der Deckel ist passgenau, das Scharnier stabil, die Schnallen lassen auch nach den ersten Monaten keinen Unmut aufkommen. Das Cello wird im Koffer am Hals durch ein schlíeßendes Band gut fixiert, aber schon die randliche Einfassung hält das Cello gut fest. Gummifüße sichern den Stand horizontal wie vertikal. Von Anfang an war keine Geruchsbelastung wahrzunehmen. Beigepackt ist ein einfacher Luftfeuchtesensor. Sicher, der Koffer hat mit Cello sein Gewicht, die Rückengurte sind vielleicht etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Alles in allem sind wir mit Angebot und Lieferung durch die Firma Thomann sehr zufrieden.

Buena entrega del envío, como siempre.
Lo mejor: cumplirá la función de proteger mi cello.
Lo peor: las bisagras de cierre no mantienen las dos partes bien alineadas y a la hora de cerrar el estuche hay que poner especial cuidado en hacer que coincidan bien los cierres metálicos y la junta de goma.

Besser, als man bei dem Preis erwarten könnte. Geöffnet wirken die beiden Schalen etwas wacklig, aber sobald der Koffer geschlossen ist und sie sich gegenseitig stabilisieren, wirkt das Ganze durchaus solide. Das Hygrometer ist unbrauchbar (zeigt dauernd 60 % an), lässt sich aber leicht entfernen.
